El hotel estaba muy ocupado el viernes cuando me inspeccioné y sólo un ascensor estaba funcionando, pero era un pequeño nigger. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es un hotel muy agradable. We stopped overnight at the Lodge and found it quiet and very comfortable. Its Forest setting is lovely and we appreciated the woodland views in the morning. Checking in and out was very easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Easily accessible free parking is another positive feature. Very convenient for Ashurst and the New Forest.

UUsuario invitadoEste hotel es un jardín de lujo y comodidad. El valor por dinero era increíble. Reservé una habitación única pero fue amablemente mejorado a un doble. La habitación era elegante y cómoda. Me impresionó especialmente la atención al detalle. La máquina de nespresso, el té de cerdos y la selección de café y chocolate de par. Me quedé en muchos hoteles de 5 estrellas y tuve que discutir con el personal para conseguir leche fresca a mi habitación. La cama estaba muy cómoda. El baño tenía un lindo champú y gel de ducha. El desayuno era delicioso y había una excelente selección. El café era grande. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer.

Nos pusieron en la habitación 104, queríamos una noche tranquila y todo lo que podíamos oír fue música alta. Me dio la oportunidad de hablar con una mujer, no le importaba lo que estaba diciendo y me dijo que había un matrimonio y la música se detuvo a medianoche. No es aceptable porque quería una noche tranquila en la cama y me gustaba dormir a las 9:00. Entonces le pregunté a la directora. ¡Era muy ruda y realmente horrible! No podía creer cómo me hablaba. ¡La música me mantuvo hasta la medianoche! Le pedí que cambiara los cuartos que dijeron que no podían hacer y luego le pregunté si podíamos ponernos en el hotel hermana que dijeron que no podían, como tendría que pagar si se paga el precio completo. Me hubiera ido a casa si pudiera vivir lejos, me iba a regresar a la habitación como no iba a ninguna parte y otra vez a las 11:00 pm me iba a regresar a la recepción porque la música había llegado aún más alto, podía oír la palabra por palabra. Ellos jugaban cosas como bailar en la luz de la luna, esto no es aceptable que me pusieran en una habitación donde podía oír la lista de la boda, esta habitación no debería haber sido permitida. Hablé con un hombre en la recepción y no sabía mucho y no podía ayudar, quería hablar con un gerente, pero dijo que no había uno alrededor hasta la mañana que es muy pobre. Dijo que es una denuncia regular que se les da como es un lugar que alberga matrimonios. Dijo que no había nada que pudiera hacer sobre eso. Dijo bien lo que quieres que haga, vaya y desvíelo, ¿qué si fuera tu matrimonio, cómo te sentirías. No fue mi boda, no me reservaba para ir y permanecer y escuchar una recepción de bodas. Debí haber permanecido en el primer hotel. Dijo que era un lugar de bodas y debíamos haberlo esperado. Ella no se quedó sin dormir hasta las 9:00 y no podía. Nos hemos ido y hemos esperado hasta que se detuvo, no hay oferta de bebidas ni nada como una excusa, sólo volvemos a la mañana para hablar con el gerente (que era demasiado tarde y perdió mi tiempo). Lamentablemente, la manager era la misma que había visto la noche anterior y ella era muy ruda. No me trataba con respeto, me habló como si fuera un ***** y no resolvería mi problema diciendo que sucede y nada que ella pudiera hacer. No te quedes aquí, quedarse en un hotel más barato como sería mejor servicio y puedes realmente dormir. Parece que tienen una licencia musical hasta 2am para que pudiera haber sido aún peor y nos mantuvo hasta más tarde. No te moleste si quieres dormir

UUsuario invitadoLa habitación es ligeramente fechada pero limpia y cómoda. Mucho espacio. Las escaleras fueron agradables. Limpia y mucho espacio para sentarse y refrigerarse. El desayuno era agradable. El personal era brillante. Amigable y muy útil. No hay nada de demasiado. Unos pocos problemas con la habitación (nadie es culpa sólo una de esas cosas) el personal se fue más allá para ayudar y acomodarnos. No puedes culparlos en absoluto. Gracias.

UUsuario invitadoThis jem of a hotel was booked via ‘Great little Breaks’ with a one night stay, 3 course dinner and breakfast for an incredible price. Este hotel de lujo ofrece instalaciones de ocio, habitaciones excepcionalmente limpias (aunque no en la casa principal en todo el folleto promocional) . Reservamos como un último minuto de viaje de estrés y nos sentíamos muy relajados después. El hotel está muy bien, pero no hay nada que no sea demasiado problemático, especialmente Chetna en la recepción. Los terrenos alrededores están bien mantenidos y supongo que se reservan muy a menudo para funciones y eventos corporativos.

UUsuario invitadoDecided to book this Novotel as a place to stay for a couple of nights in Southampton for some wedding celebrations. We have previously visited this hotel approx 22 years ago as we had our wedding held at this hotel. So we were familiar with the hotel location and surroundings as we frequently visited Southampton centre for many years over the past 22 years. The location is ideal if you are arriving by coach and train. The coach station is literally on the door step of this hotel , approx 500/600 metres away. The train station is also within walking distance too. You really are in the centre within walking distance of the main shopping centre , the West Quay .John Lewis entrance is only a 10 min walk from this hotel which takes you into the West Quay shopping centre. Novotel has a car park , which is shared with 2 other hotels at this location , including an Ibis hotel. There are plenty of spaces to park, however we arrived off season and I can imagine during the cruise season it can get busy. My only grievance with Novotel is, we booked through the Novotel website and it does say on there that parking is available however you have to pay £10 per night to park your car there. Upon arrival, you just speak with the checking in staff, provide them with your car registration number & they simply register it on their system and you pay them at the counter for your parking.So £20 on top of your hotel booking as we were staying for the 2 nights. We decided not to book any breakfast as on your doorstep is a McDonald’s…literally at the car park entrance….there is also an IKEA store 5 minutes walk from the hotel. You can see it from the hotel rooms.since the hotel is alongside the major road alongside the port, you can walk along there to IKEA and towards the pier.if you’re really lucky , you can admire one of the large cruise liners berthed up…we did , you could look at it from the hotel car park.There is also a TGI Fridays restaurant across the car park entrance at this location and a small retail park with a few shops like Poundland etc. The checking in process was seamless and we got the lift to our room which was one of the top floors. The room was pretty large ..we had a king size bed and a large double sofa bed open for our 2 teenage kids. The room had pretty well insulated windows with some really good blackout curtains. The tv was a decent size and the room also boasts a small fridge with some complimentary bottles of water. There is also a small safe which you can change the lock number on however I’m not sure how secure it can be as these budget safes are battery operated with a manual overide key., but they’re handy if you want to place some small items in there like your car keys etc. I wouldn’t be leaving anything particularly valuable in there or your passports if you’re staying here prior to your cruise….you’re better keeping them with you. The overall ambience of our room was warm welcoming relaxing and comforting which is what you want to

MMWe arrived at the hotel was given our room and when we walked in it had not been cleaned we complained to reception, they had no cleaners to do it so we had to wait 45mins for other staff to do it.
The reception manager apologised and gave us a free drink but this is not what we expected from a well known company completely ruined our relaxing day.

UUsuario invitadoBooked a room and called to request an extra bed. All agreed. At arrival, staff insist no extra bed and couldn't care less as I was told ”well there's nothing we can do”. Appalling service for such a big hotel.
