Had a Clean and safe stay!

Have stayed at the blackjack about 3 different times and always enjoy coming back. The location is right next to the shops and restaurants in south lake and near the gondola to heavenly for snowboarding and skiing, also a few minutes walk to the ******s, barely had to drive our car because we could walk to a lot of things. The rooms aren’t the biggest but they are comfortable and super clean. The bathroom we had looked fairly new, might’ve potentially been remodeled not so long ago. The room has everything we needed, mini fridge, microwave, good a/c and heater and a comfortable bed. Will look forward to my return again next year.

One of the best budget lodging options in South Lake Tahoe. Room with the bunk bed add on is a great option for those with kids. Walk to heavenly with all your gear on and make it back to the room for lunch.

Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was ready early which was awesome! The room was clean and worked well for the 1 night. The only downside (not even a huge one) I would say are the thin walls, you could hear everything and everyone in the room around you and the parking lot.

What a gem! Front desk staff was very friendly and professional, the accommodations were clean, and love that it’s directly across the street from Heavenly! Will definitely stay here again!

Right in the heart of SLT, amazing water pressure in the shower, quick and easy check-in.

The only good thing about this property is its location to the Gondola. Several issues with property listed below: - states coffee is available in lobby at 7:30a. On the first morning I showed up at 7:45a and no one was there, locked and even rang the bell nothing. - housekeeping never came the first day and when I brought it up to front desk they tried to blame me for having a do not disturb sign - which I didn’t. When housekeeping came the next day, they only replenished towels, nothing else. Not even making the bed. - sink was cheap, no water pressure and took forever to change from hot to cold, as well as a struggle to turn fully off. Brought up to front desk and said she’d send someone but nothing was ever fixed. - asked to speak to management and front desk told me they were on vacation and there was no one to talk to with any authority on property. That is concerning. - on our last morning we went out for breakfast before check out and when we came back the door was completely wide open. I’m assuming housekeeping came when we were gone thinking we left already but all of our stuff was still in there. Overall I gave the property the opportunity to correct all of the above and wasn’t met with a single apology or way to right the wrongs. I will never stay at this property again - there are a bunch of hotels walking distance to gondola and I’ll be staying there next time.

The walls are too thin. We can hear every noise that come from the rooms either side of us. The air conditioning unit is very loud. Had to turn it off to be able to sleep. The parking spots are small. Other than that it is a very convenient location.
