este hotel tiene muchos problemas de servicio. Como primera medida, no nos aceptaban pagar con American Express porque según ellos tenían problemas con la tarjeta, lo cual seguramente es porque no quieren pagar. Pedimos cambio de habitación y nos tuvieron esperando una hora para darnos otra, incluso cuando habíamos dicho que pagábamos la diferencia. Luego hablamos de un precio por el upgrade pero mas tarde nos cobraron otro. Además, cobran toda la estadía por adelantado, aunque hayamos usado un tarjeta de crédito. La pileta no es del hotel, es independiente y tiene un arreglo con el hotel para usarla. Hay que cruzar una calle muy transitada y además no se puede cargar los consumos al hotel sino que hay que pagar ahí mismo. Todos los días tuvimos problemas con housekeeping: o se olvidaban de reponer las cosas en el cuarto, o directamente no lo hacían hasta que reclamábamos a las 5 de la tarde. El desayuno es absurdamente caro. Las habitaciones están bien pero es caro para el mal servicio que brinda

El hotel es un edificio muy antiguo al que se nota han aggiornado algo. Las habitaciones están muy bien si como nosotros conseguiste una con vista al mar. Por lejos eso es lo mejor, las habitaciones con vista al Mediterráneo. Piso 4, maravilloso paisaje. El baño bastante bien. El personal del front desk sensacionales todos, amigables, comprensivos, también de lo mejor del hotel. Está muy bien ubicado, sobre Tower Road, cruzás la calle y vas a la playa de roca que termina siendo mejor que las de arena porque siempre estás impecable. Está en general, muy bien.

Está todo muy limpio y casi todo el personal es muy amable( hay excepciones como el encargado del restaurante Tiki). La piscina impresionante. La cama cómoda. Se agradece el agua en la habitación. Negativo: Minibar de la habitación vacío. Desayuno de bollería algo escaso y repetitivo. No es cierto que en zonas comunes se pida uso de mascarilla( de hecho el personal no la lleva). Y mi gran decepción: El bar de cocktails Blue Ocean cerrado!!! Fue una de las cosas que más me llamó en su página al reservar y cuando llegué...estaba cerrado a cal y canto. Pregunté y me dijeron que este año no lo abren. Sin más explicación. Así que si quieres un cocktail al anochecer o lo tomas en el bar interior o en el Tiki dónde está cenando la gente. ¿Qué hice yo? Irme a La Valeta. Es injusto que te resten servicios anunciados y no te compensen por ello. Eso me parece un poco de fraude.

Un hotel excepcional, el servicio de una amabilidad y disponibilidad increíble , no falta detalle para que la estancia sea los más confortable posible, Las habitaciones modernas, nuevas, limpias y muy confortables, incluida nespresso y personal pendiente de que te falte nada. Dispone de un beach club , con vistas al mar, que en los días calurosos del verano, refresc**** es un lujo, y un spa con piscina , saunas , duchas de lluvia muy relajante con solo reservar ... El desayuno buffet muy variado y con posibilidad de desayunar en terraza. Mi mas sincera felicitación a todo el staff del hotel. Gracias Recomendable 100%

Localización perfecta. Habitaciones limpias. Buen servicio. Buena vista. Pero .... Fui a visitar en marzo cuando estaba muy frío. No hay calefacción y la puerta de deslizamiento tenía muchas lagunas donde el viento se deslizó en las dos noches, así que mis dos noches estaban muy fríos y no hay tapones adicionales.

Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. Really lovely hotel. Clean. Great location. Close enough to all the great attractions and shops but far enough from all the noise so you still get a great night's sleep. Fantastic service from everyone at Hyatt from the receptionists (Ben and I didn't get the name of the lady who worked with him but I think it may have been Laura?) to the doorman Hoque. Intentamos escapar de la fiesta de San Julián, tomamos una habitación frente a la marina (pensando que evitaríamos los gritos de la piscina y cualquier otro ruido de la fiesta). Desafortunadamente, las habitaciones de rey de la marina están situadas justo por encima de las habitaciones jacuzzi aparentemente a menudo por familias con niños pequeños que disfrutan de un buen tiempo de excitación por la mañana o por la noche. La alta bublación persistente de jacuzzi y la falta de aislamiento acústico de las habitaciones abajo fueron sin duda una desventaja/desventaja importante. Otros bits que han cambiado desde las estancias anteriores: El AC tiene una acción muy retrasada - lleva un tiempo para apagarla. La conexión WIFI fue mala (lenta e irregular). La puerta de la nevera no se cerró/abrió correctamente. Parece que el hotel ha cambiado las matracas - solían ser más cómodos dormir en (ahora en el lado más duro).

Para mí, este es un hotel de lujo. Está muy útil personal y comprobación rápida. Bella habitación con todo lo que necesitas, incluyendo un pequeño área de cocina. También tiene un gran balcón; la vista es sobre la ciudad. Las tiendas y restaurantes están muy cerca y la costa del mar con muchos bares y restaurantes está a cinco minutos a pie. Tienes que pagar por estacionamiento por separado, que es un lugar seguro bajo el hotel. Hay un ascensor del parque de coches de vuelta al hotel. También puedes aparcar gratis en la calle hay espacios marcados por líneas blancas, pero es un área ocupada, y no siempre puedes encontrar un espacio.

Experiencia en el albergue Malti. Está bien situado en St Julians, fácil de acceder y sin llaves (no hay miedo de perderlas), ya que la puerta se abre con un código. El lugar es realmente agradable, hay un techo en la parte superior con transat y mesas, así como un jacuzzi abierto en el fin de semana! Es una lástima que todos estos servicios terminan a las 23:00 en la noche ...
