"The hotel is in a great location with beach access and a lovely pool. The staff are all so friendly. Some parts of the building are a bit tired but the room was great and very clean. Can’t imagine the upkeep required so I think they are doing a good job. Would go again if I get the chance."

"This is a fantastic hotel, with very large suite like rooms. The staff were universally good, with Nino the barman being the stand out member. He looked after us very well and was a warm and engaging personality. The only criticism would be that the mattress on the bed was a bit tired and needed replacing and the bar was very quiet in the evenings."

"Cuidado: ¡este no es un hotel de 4 estrellas! Estancia decepcionante en general. Problemas con fugas de agua en las habitaciones y áreas públicas cuando estuvimos allí en septiembre; No hay suficientes tumbonas ni sombrillas para el número de huéspedes y las que existen están compactadas en un área que garantiza una estrecha relación con la persona que se encuentra en la tumbona contigua, lo quiera o no. La limpieza diaria de las tumbonas implicaba rociarlas con chorros de agua fría y esperar que se secaran rápidamente al sol. Ellos no. El desayuno fue muy decepcionante: los jugos de frutas que se servían no eran dignos de un hotel de 4 estrellas, la comida de mala calidad en general, no había cucharaditas sin solicitarlo. Los camareros en el desayuno preferían, y se les permitía, quedarse charlando y se mostraban hoscos si se les pedía que hicieran algo. Para ser justos, esto contrastaba con el personal de servicio por la noche (restaurante Crazy Cow) en el mismo lugar, que era excelente al igual que la comida. Tenga en cuenta que la ubicación y la calidad de las comodidades y el servicio de este hotel no son dignos de 4 estrellas."

"It’s a nice place. Fantastic location 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to town and you can walk along the beach to town as well as the road. The hill is not too steep as some people say it’s just a slight incline it’s no problem. The hotel is clean and rooms cleaned every day and fresh towels. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. Bar is good limited choice of food and drinks. Breakfasts of choice but not too keen on their version of bacon and sausage but plenty of other stuff to eat. Pool area clean and pleasant very comfy beds. Now for the negatives! Pool beds all taken by 8am most days so you need to be up. We paid extra for deluxe pool view but was disappointed with the room. We were allocated room 101 right next to reception and the very small terrace was along side the entrance of reception and about 5 metres from the bar so we had zero privacy and it was noisy. Asked to live but hotel was full manager did try to keep reception noise to a minimum after complaining but the maid cart was also outside our room so we were woken most days around 7am. I guess it’s the luck of the draw. The shower room needs a bit of a refurb it was not the best but clean and adequate. The room also only had a wardrobe no other storage no draws at all and just a shelf my husband could not unpack. So all in all it’s too good to give a 3 out of 5 but a 4 feels generous! I would look at returning perhaps to the suits and villas as the proximity was perfect. I would not return to the hotel but my daughter and her partner absolutely loved it so it’s all just a matter of what works for you."

"Mi marido y yo nos reservamos para quedarse en Niso Skiathos (una maravillosa y profesionalmente gestionada empresa familiar) durante una semana en septiembre y nos divirtimos tanto que nos divirtimos durante otra semana! Niso Skiathos está a manos de la zona para quedarse en si usted planea visitar Skiathos. El hotel está a sólo cinco minutos a pie del hotel, si es así! Ahora, hasta que el Niso Skiathos va. ¡Amazing!!! De los maravillosos propietarios (Eleni y Dimitris) a los impresionantes personales que conocimos (Panagiotis, Frida y Lira), no podían hacer lo suficiente para nosotros. Siempre allí si necesitas algo y recomendaciones en playas, restaurantes y áreas para visitar. Pregúntales lo que les ayudarán. Estaba buscando un vaso específico para mi amigo, que no pude encontrar en ninguna tienda y Eleni me encontró uno. Sólo un servicio brillante por todas partes!!! En cuanto a la limpieza. Increíble! El hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentran los mejores lugares de la ciudad. Sí, el coche se rellena cada día. Seriosamente, sólo pregúntales algo. Se van por aquí y por aquí. Cuando lleguemos a Skiathos, definitivamente nos quedamos aquí otra vez. Gracias a Eleni y a todos por hacer nuestras vacaciones tan maravillosas, divertidas, tranquilas y sorprendentes."

"Avoid this place. The owner is abusive and mean. No care or customer service. Bizarre given this is what running a hotel is about. There are about 20 stray cats in the garden and hotel at any one time. If you are allergic like my husband this is seriously a worry. Personally I don’t go on holiday to share the area with flea ridden stray cats."

"All members of staff are super friendly, the accommodation is modern, clean and comfortable with ceiling fan and AC. The rooms have automatic blackout blinds which enabled us to have the best sleeps ever! The two pools were just the right size with sun-beds available The breakfast was excellent and on the occasion we ate an evening meal the food was delicious It is in a quiet area but only 10mins walk from the centre of town where there is an abundance of restaurants, We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mystery Hotel to anyone that visits to beautiful Skiathos"

Magic Hotel

"I came here with my 16 year old daughter, it was our first time in Skiathos. This hotel is just perfect - very friendly staff (including reception ladies, restaurant and pool bar staff, the cleaners, etc.). Lovely rooms (cleaned daily) with Greek charm and beautiful views. Please be prepared to walk up quite allot of steps (but it's worth it for the views). Location is great, 5 minute walk to beautiful beach and plenty of restaurants close by. Most of the restaurants are by the main road so a bit of traffic noise but there a few off the main road, we really liked Kipos taverna and also enjoyed the Greek night at Vesuvio with fire and smashing plates (on every Sunday). The food was great everywhere we went. The bus stop (16) is a few steps from the hotel and so a well stocked mini-market. We also walked to the Crazy Rooster (booking required) for a Greek night (every Monday), which is allot of fun, it includes dinner, performance, party and people jumping in the pool. We went to Skiathos town several times, which is so picturesque, full of narrow atmospheric streets and alleys and amazing views. We visited some of the beaches - a pair of sunbeds cost on average 30 euros and quite often require prior booking. Our favourite beach was probably Troulos (bus stop 20), sunbeds at Maya's Beach Bar. We also liked Kolios (15 minute walk from the hotel) - at the Beach House. Kokounaries beach wasn't really our vibe. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Magic hotel 🥰"
