The travel lodge was very clean the shower was very powerful The amenities were limited as we had to go out for food we could have had a cereal breakfast but didn't fancy that

Sufficient for a one night stay. In the middle of nowhere, although a drivable distance from Richmond

We only stayed one night but was lovely. Had free parking, which is what we needed. the room was clean and spacious. It was a warm day so a fan was provided in the room which was good. services were near by if food or drinks were needed if the vending machine didn't have what you wanted.

I stay over here regularly for business, and i have noted one of the staff members Meme, she is always polite, extremely friendly and helpful, and always makes me feel so welcome. She makes the check in process so quick and easy and always reminds me that she is on duty until late if i need anything. What a lovely lady.

Tired hotel that needs a refresh. Bathroom dirty and broken shower head. Let’s the brand down. Comfy bed and at least that was clean!

This Travelodge is alongside the motorway behind a boarded up diner and looks wholly uninviting. However the staff made us feel welcome and we had a good night’s sleep. Nearest food outlets are either in Richmond or at the next junction in the A1M. Just an overnight stop for us between the north and the south, once was enough!

Good place to stay clean , grate staff , well worth the price of the room. I would recommend it and stay again very handy for the races catterick

It has been a standard which allows people to come and go freely and pays attention to any needs . The staff , cleaners and rooms are excellent . Well worth the price and stay . The views are great and the availability of been out and about is superb . D P T .

The room we were allocated smellt of fish and sweat, it was disgusting.We were give another room only to find fecees on the toilet seat.How the cleaners could have missed this is beyond me.Never again.

A lovely quiet night’s rest, even though it’s right on the A6055 and within sight of the A1(M). Friendly, helpful staff on site, a ground floor room with a bath made a relaxing stay after a busy day. Only a one night stay this time but I’m sure we’ll be back again. By enlarge all Travelodge’s are good but this one just seemed that much better.

Clean room. Quiet, but could hear people moving about above the room late at night. Breakfast tasted like cardboard and so not value for money Receptionists we're friendly

Quiet location even though it was next to the A1, room was clean and well presented, staff where helpful and friendly, ideal location to explore this area and good road links.

Always clean, friendly staff, room spotless, refills on tap as you walk in. Brilliant location for the Dales. Don't be put off by the abandoned restaurant outside as the actual Hotel is lovely , been coming here for years and the prices are good. Easy access and plenty of parking .It may not be an upmarket snazzy hotel but it is our favourite.

Really clean room, wonderfully comfortable bed, lovely hot shower, tea and coffee and lovely friendly staff on the desk. Situated right in the middle of where we wanted to visit. We would definitely use again if in the area. We'll done and thank you very much.
