Porto Sisi Hotel Apartments

We recently returned from Porto Sisi apartments following a 9 night stay & honestly cannot fault the apartments. It felt like returning home. Perfect location, right infront of the sea. This is the real Crete, wonderful small team of staff lead by Anthi the owner, who honestly are just the best. Great attention without being too much, always there if you need any help or advice but at the same time let you feel completely relaxed. Many days we had the pool completely to ourselves. The apartments have everything you need, and are kept spotless. The pool area is cleaned every morning, cannot fault anything. Yes Sissi itself has grown a little over the last couple of years but we prefer original properties like Porto Sisi. Great selection of restaurants in Sissi and everyone is just so friendly. A gem ! Well appointed self catering apartment including even electric Orange juicer and sandwich toaster. Very comfortable. Daily cleaning. Head receptionist Elisavet very helpful. We had a great view out to sea from our balcony. Plentiful restaurants and bars close by.

The perfect place to stay in Sissi. Spacious and very well equipped apartments designed in traditional Greek style. Very clean and well kept by a lovely friendly housekeeper. Pool is perfect size - plenty of sunbeds and you get towels you can take to the beach

Spent a lovely week at Porto Sissi welcoming & spotlessly clean unfortunately there were a couple of things that would stop me returning firstly the access to the pool which incidentally was lovely, but as a 74-year-old with arthritis not having a handrail to safely get in & out of the pool stopped me being able to use the pool which was a shame the other thing which I didn’t understand as iv never experienced it before is the fact that guests are expected to put there own sun beds out in the morning & return them after use for me this was not possible my daughters were with me so they did it for me but nevertheless I don’t think guests should be expected to be doing this

We were in Sissi in late April to mid-May just before tourist season started. Unexpected exceptionally cold weather (not something most tourists experience I expect)! We opted for the Superior Sea View Apartment. LIKED Our apartment, and outer areas were kept spotlessly clean. Helpfulness of staff Great shower pressure and temperature Supermarket and great restaurant just across the street Quiet Heater in bedroom DID NOT LIKE Small double bed Only TV was on the wall in the bedroom - could only watch TV in bed Our bedroom window was overlooked by units just behind Apartment only gets sun late in the afternoon Open shower which wets the floor which is quite slippery

Anthi, the owner, was super communicative, professional and thoughtful right from our booking -- checking in each day to make sure we had all we needed. She shared all of her tips on places to eat and see, near and within an hour or so, from her hotel. The rooms were simple with sweet countryside vibes, and comfortable. The best restaurants and shops were just steps away from this perfectly located Sisi Lovely hotel. Views of the sea from poolside were gorgeous, especially sunsets. All in all, a lovely Greek Boutique Hotel with unique design, local character, intimate atmosphere and attentive service. * (You might wish to use bug spray at nighttime due to our best efforts mosquitoes do sneak in.)

Lovely quiet and tranquil. pleasant staff who were always willing to chat and show interest in your day. The town is a secret gem as yet unspoilt by over commercialism

A dream, a paradise. A beautiful apartment in a setting reminiscent of a small village of typical Greek houses. The views are incredible, and the sunsets fill the surroundings with the magic of the Greek atmosphere. The pool is perfect for a dip after returning from the beach. The facilities are very clean, and the atmosphere is peaceful and pleasant. The apartment is incredible, with a porch at the entrance with beautiful tables and chairs, a shaded interior patio with a dining table, and a clothesline. Equipped with everything you need: a microwave, non-drip and capsule coffee makers, a kettle, a toaster, a juicer, a stove, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, air conditioning, and a fan. It also has cleaning and hygiene products. Crysanthi, the owner, is super friendly and kind, always attentive to our every need. The receptionist and the cleaner were also very kind, always smiling and welcoming. There's a supermarket across the street, and nearby are plenty of gift shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and places to have a good time. The food is so good in Greece! The apartment is half an hour from the capital, Heraklion, and half an hour from Agios Nikolaos and Elounda. It's also 1 hour and 43 minutes from Rethymno, a must-see city with a beautiful old town, canals, shops, and incredible restaurants. We will definitely return. Crete is an incredible island, with very kind and friendly people, and these apartments are the perfect place to live this dream, the magic of our adventure.

Fabulous apartments overlooking the sea. Spotlessly clean with your own small kitchen and lounge area with Netflix etc. Lovely private balcony and we had a beautiful sea view. Fabulous pool area too with the sea one side and pool the other. These are calm, quiet apartments which was perfect for us as a couple and the location is second to none. Minutes walk to shops, restaurants, car hire. Sissi itself is relaxed and quaint. Don’t miss a swim in the harbour. Beautiful. The team at Porto Sissi also spoilt me on my birthday with beautiful flowers. I was very touched. Thank you so much Anthi and team, we will be back!
