Casa señorial privada, 2 pisos, lujosa y serena, revestimiento de paredes de seda, con un piano y otras antigüedades de más de 100 años. El hotel se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie de la mansión Regaleira de Sintra. Hay aparcamiento gratuito y hay una tetera para agua caliente y una tetera para hacer té. El desayuno es abundante y algunos son cubiertos de plata. El hotel nos proporcionó una cama supletoria gratis. Cuando nos fuimos, también enviamos tres botellas de agua. El personal de servicio fue cálido y meticuloso, limpio e higiénico. El primer día, la piscina tenía muchas hojas caídas y se limpió al día siguiente. Muy interesante es que hay cuatro pavos reales en el segundo piso del hotel. Me pregunto si lo alimenta el hotel. Hotel recomendado!

Me and my husband stayed for one night. This is the BEST hotel I ever stayed in. RECEPTION, lovely check in. A BIG thank you to ROBSON, who were just lovely. As it was my birthday we received complimentary white bottle of wine, two delicious chocolates cakes and fruit. Thank you for making our stay so special. ROOM-standard room it was very spacious with balcony. King size bed so comfy. Towels so soft, Complimentary robes and slippers, Mini bar and complimentary water. TV with a lot of channels, no access to Netflix. SPA, POOLS- amazing 2 outdoor pools, one indoor pool with warmer water, jacuzzi. Loved it, so relaxing. RESTAURANT- breakfast and dinner were buffet, so much choice of delicious food. STAFF- every one was friendly and Thanks to restaurant staff of helping my husband with vegetarian options at the buffet. Hotel design- loved the fresh green design with historic decorations.

Este es un estudio muy mixto. El hotel es hermoso en general y está atravesado en la historia. Las zonas públicas son muy bonitas y hay muchos rincones interesantes para relajarse. El desayuno es excelente y el personal muy agradable. No obstante, reservamos una habitación superior que cuesta casi 250 euros por noche, y no nos disfrutamos de una experiencia superior. La zona de terraza de la piscina era bonita, con vistas al bosque, pero a pesar de la abundante habitación, sólo había dos sillas en pie. La habitación era pequeña y oscura, y el baño en gran necesidad de renovación. Había una gran crack en la cuenca y marcas negras en el baño, y todo estaba muy cansado. La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable, pero no era una experiencia de cinco estrellas.

Precioso resort en un parque natural pensado para disfrutar. Todo el personal es muy amable, el servicio de masajes espectacular. Tienen servicio de aparcacoches, te dejan las maletas en la habitación y te acompañan hasta allí. Hemos ido a celebrar mi cumpleaños y han tenido muchos detalles conmigo. Me llevaron dulces a la habitación, y por la noche nos llevaron más bombones, agua y nos abrieron la cama. Volveré sin duda.

We have stayed there for a few days at the beginning of July as part of our annual main holidays. Advantages: * Breathtakingly beautiful place in the Portugese mountains. I could lay staring at the view from our room whole day. You can see castle and 2 palaces directly from the terrace. * The gardens are really nice, well groomed and give a very nice atmosphere for the whole stay. A lot of blooming flowers, well groomed grass - very Instagram friendly. * Place is very peaceful - a bit outside of the town, so it's very quiet, also during the night. You can also hear a lot of birds, which gives a very serene experience. * Swimming pool is placed on a terrace with amazing view, surrounded by the beautiful greenery. I enjoyed it very much, especially as it helped to cool down in a heatwave. * Very spacious room (superiour suite with kitchenette), well equipped, very clean, decorated nicely. There were also furniture on the terrace (table & chairs, as well as sun loungers). Really nice for eating meals outside or reading a book. * Access to the common kitchen with all the amenities, possibility to use washing machine (additional pay), water fountaine available all the time (no need to bring water from the shop). There's also small library with books, which can come in handy. * In general all the staff was very nice and courteous. They also give good tips as to where eat or what to visit nearby. * Possibility of booking a stay online. * Reasonable pricing Issues: * Lack of air-conditioning - which was a big flaw for our stay. We were there during a heat wave and sleeping through the night was simply impossible. It was very disapponting as WE ASKED BEFORE BOOKING the room and we were wrote that there is air-co in the ”superior suite”, which we booked exactly for that reason. When we came, it turned out it's only a device that is blowing air with water. It wasn't cooling the room. Also in 30 degrees, putting piece of ice inside does nothing. Maybe except for making room extremely humid. And device was paired with dehumidifier, which actually heats up the air when used. So I am still lost on how it was supposed to help. * Customer service - all the people were very kind and curteous, spoke great English, however I did not feel understood when we raised a complaint about lack of air conditioning. There was not much initiative to improve the situation (we only received additional fan, which also did not improve situation very much). They did not offer actual air-co device, help with finding another stay, not even a discount or free breakfast. Although indeed, we heard some apologies. Also the owner of the place, who could be seen in the property from time to time, did not make very welcoming impression. She also did not decide to talk to us after we raised a complaint, which I am pretty sure she knew about. *Breakfast - it was served in a very nice way, but the portions are very small (e.g. under postion ”cheese” you receive 2 small slices). El hotel está muy cerca de la estación de tren, y es fácil de encontrar según la navegación. El patio exterior es hermoso, y el vestíbulo y las áreas públicas también son hermosas. Sin embargo, por ser una casa antigua, no hay ascensor, y si vives en un piso alto, tienes que llevar tu maleta para subir. Este es básicamente el problema de los hoteles en los que vives en casas antiguas en Portugal. Reservamos una suite con un pequeño loft y un pequeño balcón fuera del loft con una bonita vista. El desayuno es su propia cafetería, no con el lugar donde viven, está muy cerca, a menos de 5 minutos. El desayuno es de estilo occidental, con pan, queso, postres, frutas, una taza de jugo y café por persona, que es bastante abundante.

Habiendo dormido en otros Quinta en Portugal, se esperaba un hotel un poco más alto, por lo que un poco decepcionado. Es más bien una habitación de hoteles, nivel 2 o 3 epis Gîte de France si conoce: por lo tanto cómodo y bonito, pero sencillo. Y aquí, sin la comodidad de una habitación de hoteles. Nos decepcionó la recepción: tuvimos problemas para encontrar el lugar (no hay pantalla en la carretera y un pantalla muy pequeña en la entrada), se llama al portal, Paremos y luego nos vamos a dar dos vueltas de la casa antes de cruzar a alguien. Ella habla francés y inglés, es bueno, nos lleva la llave de la habitación y una vieja hoja fotocópia con la lista de restaurantes cercanos y lugares para visitar, Nos dice el horario del desayuno mostrando la veranda, y eso es todo. Y al salir fue aún más simple: Encontramos a nadie, así que dejó la llave y nos fuimos. - es en la campana, por lo tanto, tranquilo, y no demasiado lejos (auto obligatoria) para visitar Sintra - hermosa terraza con piscina no calentada - nevera en libre acceso en la veranda: basada en la confianza, Toma las bebidas y paga en el tirelirio o en marcha - el personal del desayuno era muy útil MINOS: - francamente aislado, por lo que 4-5km de coche antes de encontrar algo para comer - cama cómoda pero cuarto y baño espartados, y muy húmeda: nuestras toallas se han mantenido en la mente durante 2 días - el desayuno no es loco: para una habitación de hotel se espera mejor ATENCIÓN si visita el Palacio de Sintra, lea los comentarios y consejos de TripAdvisor antes, Porque es realmente blindado de mundo (el horror!) así que es mejor organizarse.

Arrived exhausted after 24 hours flying time from Perth , Australia due to serious delays. Hotel Manager Rui was on phone enquiring about our arrival as we were very late. Rui was as relieved to see us as we were him and he immediately took our luggage upstairs for us and made us feel very welcome.During our 5 nights at the Nova Sintra Rui was invaluable with his suggestions and help in regard to Sintra & surrounds and we were made to feel nothing was too much trouble for him. As we were going on a walking adventure Rui would advise us tbe night before about our taxi pick up if applicable and even packed us a delicious lunch on one of the days. Breakfasts were delicious and healthy and the beautiful building was charming. Thank you Rui for your warmth & friendship and if ever we come back to Sintra we would stay no where else.

Este es básicamente el problema de los hoteles en los que vives en casas antiguas en Portugal. Reservamos una suite con un pequeño loft y un pequeño balcón fuera del loft con una bonita vista. El desayuno es su propia cafetería, no con el lugar donde viven, está muy cerca, a menos de 5 minutos. El desayuno es de estilo occidental, con pan, queso, postres, frutas, una taza de jugo y café por persona, que es bastante abundante.

Este es un estudio muy mixto. El hotel es hermoso en general y está atravesado en la historia. Las zonas públicas son muy bonitas y hay muchos rincones interesantes para relajarse. El desayuno es excelente y el personal muy agradable. No obstante, reservamos una habitación superior que cuesta casi 250 euros por noche, y no nos disfrutamos de una experiencia superior. La zona de terraza de la piscina era bonita, con vistas al bosque, pero a pesar de la abundante habitación, sólo había dos sillas en pie. La habitación era pequeña y oscura, y el baño en gran necesidad de renovación. Había una gran crack en la cuenca y marcas negras en el baño, y todo estaba muy cansado. La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable, pero no era una experiencia de cinco estrellas.

Muy explícitos de cómo llegar ( no es tan fácil, pero con las indicaciones dadas de antemano, se simplifica mucho) Tiene un horario para el ingreso acompañado, hasta las 18 hs, luego se dan las instrucciones claras y precisas para ingresar sin inconvenientes. Desayuno incluido.

I did not expect to be so disappointed with my night in this guest house when I met the owner who was my faith very friendly. But for that price, the service was really horrible. A bed as hard as a stone bench, pillows surely found in Emmaus. The water of the cumulus which is connected on the three rooms of the house so huge variation of pressure and temperature when taking a shower/ bath. The room was infested with mosquitoes, I spent all my evening and a large part of my night to track pests because I am allergic to it, I warned the owner who gave me an anti mosquito bomb before telling me that there were no mosquitoes in the house (Something that is false because having lunch with other guests they lived the same night and were very disappointed. They did not understand the notes of the establishment and made fun of those who had left such lies). The soundproofing is horrible also we hear the owner who watches the TV downstairs, the other rooms but also the dogs of the neighbors who screamed all night and cherry on the cake, wake up at seven o'clock by the parakeets of the owner just below the room plus the TV that did not work. A little ashamed to ask for a positive review when you have such a ridiculous establishment that only serves to catch tourists who want a typical homestay stay instead of the coldness of a hotel. Let’s talk about breakfast, not fruit juice but a brick of ice tea coming out of the lidl, which products mark see below. All in all, when the owner of the establishment accepted us and advised us on the visits to be made the next day, it was chiquement apprété with a set of jewel worth in the 1000/ 1500 euros. A bit ridiculous such a gap between the appearance of the person and the quality of service offered for the three rooms. For the same price, I would have had access to a 4-star hotel with a buffet breakfast and the calm we would have liked to have seen the standing of your slum. Thank you however for the advice, only thing to remember from this stay, the talent of tourist guide of our host but absolutely not to receive. To avoid if you wish a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast. When we allow ourselves to beg for a review we must be irreproachable, otherwise we are ridiculous. If I wasn’t a rat I would have asked for a refund:)

Habiendo dormido en otros Quinta en Portugal, se esperaba un hotel un poco más alto, por lo que un poco decepcionado. Es más bien una habitación de hoteles, nivel 2 o 3 epis Gîte de France si conoce: por lo tanto cómodo y bonito, pero sencillo. Y aquí, sin la comodidad de una habitación de hoteles. Nos decepcionó la recepción: tuvimos problemas para encontrar el lugar (no hay pantalla en la carretera y un pantalla muy pequeña en la entrada), se llama al portal, Paremos y luego nos vamos a dar dos vueltas de la casa antes de cruzar a alguien. Ella habla francés y inglés, es bueno, nos lleva la llave de la habitación y una vieja hoja fotocópia con la lista de restaurantes cercanos y lugares para visitar, Nos dice el horario del desayuno mostrando la veranda, y eso es todo. Y al salir fue aún más simple: Encontramos a nadie, así que dejó la llave y nos fuimos. - es en la campana, por lo tanto, tranquilo, y no demasiado lejos (auto obligatoria) para visitar Sintra - hermosa terraza con piscina no calentada - nevera en libre acceso en la veranda: basada en la confianza, Toma las bebidas y paga en el tirelirio o en marcha - el personal del desayuno era muy útil MINOS: - francamente aislado, por lo que 4-5km de coche antes de encontrar algo para comer - cama cómoda pero cuarto y baño espartados, y muy húmeda: nuestras toallas se han mantenido en la mente durante 2 días - el desayuno no es loco: para una habitación de hotel se espera mejor ATENCIÓN si visita el Palacio de Sintra, lea los comentarios y consejos de TripAdvisor antes, Porque es realmente blindado de mundo (el horror!) así que es mejor organizarse.

Me and my husband stayed for one night. This is the BEST hotel I ever stayed in. RECEPTION, lovely check in. A BIG thank you to ROBSON, who were just lovely. As it was my birthday we received complimentary white bottle of wine, two delicious chocolates cakes and fruit. Thank you for making our stay so special. ROOM-standard room it was very spacious with balcony. King size bed so comfy. Towels so soft, Complimentary robes and slippers, Mini bar and complimentary water. TV with a lot of channels, no access to Netflix. SPA, POOLS- amazing 2 outdoor pools, one indoor pool with warmer water, jacuzzi. Loved it, so relaxing. RESTAURANT- breakfast and dinner were buffet, so much choice of delicious food. STAFF- every one was friendly and Thanks to restaurant staff of helping my husband with vegetarian options at the buffet. Hotel design- loved the fresh green design with historic decorations.

Detalles al llegar, agua, tostadas, zumos, leche, café, infusiones, mantequilla, mermelada. La anfitriona muy simpática, nos orientó sobre Sintra y nos ofreció una copa de Oporto en un restaurante del pueblo. El baño espectacular, la cama enorme y comodísima. Volveremos sin duda.

En primera línea de playa, elevado sobre uno de sus extremos, se encuentra ubicado este estupendo hotel. Fue diseñado en los años 60 (cuando se permitía edificar en el mismo litoral), pero se encuentra perfectamente reformado y renovado. Lo más llamativo es su impresionante piscina oceánica de agua salada de 100 metros de longitud, a la que se vuelcan semicircularmente todas las habitaciones, y con salida directa a la playa. Todas las habitaciones son amplias, con terraza y vistas al mar. La cama es muy grande y cómoda. El baño, perfecto: amplio y con un cristal que te permite ducharte contemplando la terraza a través de la habitación; es impresionante ver como rompen las olas del mar contralos muros de la piscina y recre**** en las piruetas de los múltiples surfistas de la playa. Cuentan con aire acondicionado, nevera, tv plana y wifi. Destaco la amabilidad de todos sus recepcionistas, que literalmente se desviven por que te sientas a gusto: dato a destacar fue que llegamos sin anunciar que viajábamos con un niño y nos facilitaron una suite familiar (con otra habitación justo a la entrada) sin incrementar el coste. El hotel cuenta con restaurante, saunas y un pequeño bar-cafetería en la piscina. Justo en el exterior hay un quiosco con prensa. En las cercanías hay numerosos restaurantes; recomiendo el Bar da Fondo, en el otro extremo de la playa. El parking es gratuito, pero resulta algo escaso y puede haber problemas de espacios a determinadas horas. Perfecta limpieza. Para utilizar la piscina puedes pedir toalla y devolverla a la salida. Precio de dos noches: 280 € (a 140 €/noche; la primera semana de septiembre) Lo recomiendo gratamente. Me gustaría volver.

Personal muy agradable, sonriente, servible y haciendo el esfuerzo de hablar francés porque era tan agradable y cortés. Muy bonito hotel, grande, espacioso, limpio, agradable y tranquilo. Muy buena lectura con un buen calor. Había WiFi, pero tenía que pedir la contraseña. La sala de restaurante está en el sótano, pero es muy luminosa gracias a las grandes bayas de vidrio que dan al jardín. Muy bueno desayuno variado (5€) y comida de bufete conveniente para el precio y la temporada (10€ en febrero) El único punto negativo es el estacionamiento, muy poco espacio.

Me and my husband stayed for one night. This is the BEST hotel I ever stayed in. RECEPTION, lovely check in. A BIG thank you to ROBSON, who were just lovely. As it was my birthday we received complimentary white bottle of wine, two delicious chocolates cakes and fruit. Thank you for making our stay so special. ROOM-standard room it was very spacious with balcony. King size bed so comfy. Towels so soft, Complimentary robes and slippers, Mini bar and complimentary water. TV with a lot of channels, no access to Netflix. SPA, POOLS- amazing 2 outdoor pools, one indoor pool with warmer water, jacuzzi. Loved it, so relaxing. RESTAURANT- breakfast and dinner were buffet, so much choice of delicious food. STAFF- every one was friendly and Thanks to restaurant staff of helping my husband with vegetarian options at the buffet. Hotel design- loved the fresh green design with historic decorations.

El hotel está muy cerca de la estación de tren, y es fácil de encontrar según la navegación. El patio exterior es hermoso, y el vestíbulo y las áreas públicas también son hermosas. Sin embargo, por ser una casa antigua, no hay ascensor, y si vives en un piso alto, tienes que llevar tu maleta para subir. Este es básicamente el problema de los hoteles en los que vives en casas antiguas en Portugal. Reservamos una suite con un pequeño loft y un pequeño balcón fuera del loft con una bonita vista. El desayuno es su propia cafetería, no con el lugar donde viven, está muy cerca, a menos de 5 minutos. El desayuno es de estilo occidental, con pan, queso, postres, frutas, una taza de jugo y café por persona, que es bastante abundante.

Casa señorial privada, 2 pisos, lujosa y serena, revestimiento de paredes de seda, con un piano y otras antigüedades de más de 100 años. El hotel se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie de la mansión Regaleira de Sintra. Hay aparcamiento gratuito y hay una tetera para agua caliente y una tetera para hacer té. El desayuno es abundante y algunos son cubiertos de plata. El hotel nos proporcionó una cama supletoria gratis. Cuando nos fuimos, también enviamos tres botellas de agua. El personal de servicio fue cálido y meticuloso, limpio e higiénico. El primer día, la piscina tenía muchas hojas caídas y se limpió al día siguiente. Muy interesante es que hay cuatro pavos reales en el segundo piso del hotel. Me pregunto si lo alimenta el hotel. Hotel recomendado!
