Village Hotel Changi by Far East Hospitality

La habitación es un poco anticuada pero está bien cuidada. La ubicación está lejos del aeropuerto y la ciudad, no hay MRT en esta área, es tranquila y costosa para tomar un taxi o tomar un taxi, pero está cerca de Pulau Ubin, el parque junto al mar y un buen restaurante. El desayuno está muy por debajo del estándar y necesita una mejora importante.

Me encanta la ubicación, ubicado en Changi Village, un agradable respiro del ajetreado paisaje urbano habitual de Sg. El funcionamiento del hotel no ha vuelto a su máximo esplendor: no hay restaurantes, el servicio de habitaciones y la piscina del nivel 8 no se abrieron, pero no nos importa, ya que hay muchas opciones de comida cerca y la playa está al otro lado de la calle.

Recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel a cualquiera que esté en tránsito o viaje por Singapur. La ubicación es buena para los vuelos tardíos que llegan a Changi y necesitan un lugar para qued**** que esté cerca del aeropuerto. A la ciudad en transporte público se tarda 1 hora en el autobús 29 y Downtown MTR desde Tampines. El personal es muy amable y compasivo. Están abiertos las 24 horas, los 7 días de la semana, por lo que puede ingresar en cualquier momento para registr****. El personal fue muy servicial a pesar de que nuestra reserva tuvo un problema. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y tranquilas, y la piscina en el octavo nivel era exquisita. ¡Gracias por alojarnos!

Me gustó todo en este hotel, excepto el hecho de que tienen todas las neveras en las habitaciones preestablecidas de 8 a 12 grados centígrados. La carta del hotel en mi habitación dice que están preestablecidos a esta temperatura y no son aptos para el almacenamiento de alimentos. Ni siquiera podía mantener mi agua fría. Obsurdo

La ubicación del hotel está bastante apartada, supongo que no es algo malo si quieres tomarte un descanso del ajetreo y el bullicio de la ciudad. Me alegra saber que el hotel ha reabierto recientemente. Definitivamente necesita un "lavado de cara" con algunos cambios de imagen en la fachada del hotel. En general, la estancia fue agradable con el precio que pagué.

The driver of the shuttle bus is helpful in the morning. But the check-in experience is really a nightmare. I didn’t feel any warm welcome. The lady handled us with a cold face. Even though she made a wrongly luggage given upon check-in, at least she was trying to help at some time. The manager in grey wasn’t trying to help at any time when I tried to ask for help as a customer with a simple request. He just expressed his rudeness, impatience and arrogance.He even tried to argue and blame for his customer the way he treated me as a troublemaker maker not a customer, which made me my whole experience rather uncomfortable. There are several ants found in the room. The bedside table and bathtub are dirty. However, I don't want to argue anymore about this cause I was really tired that day.When I tried to call the front desk several times for an extra blanket, the was no answer for 10 minutes. When I tried to check downstairs, I saw a long queue there then I can show some understanding. By the way, the lobby staff there listened to me and delivered the blanket very soon. His helpfulness made me a bit warmer. However, the check-in experience is awful, I was even introduced to the 8th floor outdoor swimming poor for rest in a rainy day, which was ridiculous but was their only way to solve my request. Village Hotels is a chain brand in the Singaporean market. I don't know what is your strategy and brand value. I want to say you may not care about the Chinese market. Sometimes the hotel facilities are not easy to improve, but the customer care and basic service sense is simple but very important. Pls treat your customer with the basic respect and professionalism. Especially your manager's task is trying to calm down and solve guest's problem as soon as possible not to make your customer more embarrassing and uncomfortable. The manager power should not be used in such way in a hospitality industry. If your customer writes such a long comments and suggestion, it means he still has some expectation on your brand. On the other way, you can also treat it as a trash talk and we just don't need to have any connection in the future. In the end thanks for the driver and the lobby staff that day. They made me a bit warmer at the some junction of time.

The room is spacious and facing the sea despite an obstructed view. Overall facilities are still in good working conditions depiste an "old" hotel. Overall stay has been very pleasant and hotel provides free parking too. 2nd time staying in this hotel.
