Hilton Singapore Orchard

2nd stay at the Hilton Orchard and it was much more pleasant than the first. Was given a king corner suite on a high 29th storey (out of 32) with a decent view of orchard. Also appreciate being allowed to check-in early. Room was very well furbished and the toilet was huge, with separate washing and shower area. Bed was comfortable and very big. Nice and massive bathtub too. Gym was well-equipped, and there was a huge variety of breakfast at Estate.  Request for amenities arrived very quickly and the operator also answered the calls promptly (have experienced some luxurious hotels where the operator doesnt pick-up despite multiple calls) Lounge staff were generally very warm and friendly, especially Donovan, (whom I recognized from the previous stay) who stood out by making the most consistently nice cup of hot/iced chocolate (my go-to whenever I wanted one), and was always around and ready to help, and proactive in asking guests if they needed anything, even during times when the lounge wasn't busy Also glad to have met Christal , another familiar face who recognized me as a visitor to Dolcetto, where she was working at previously. And Claire, who put in the effort to at least remember and address me by name. It was a pleasure to see the club lounge staff take so much pride and dedication in their work. Food at club lounge was decent, evening canapes had a selection of finger food (chicken wings/dumplings) etc which could make for a minor meal substitute. These were also regularly replenished, so that there was no shortage of food. One thing which amazed me was that the hotel managed to send a cake without any prior notice (I had made a request during booking which didn't get through) .  I think it is great whenever a hotel manages to fulfil a request that they were not prepared for.  Comparing this with a failed experience at the Ritz Carlton Millenia, who had  acknowledged my birthday request but had completely forgotten about it during the stay, was caught completely off-guard, and proceeded to hastily cobble a couple of desserts from the lounge (which is pointless as I had lounge access already seen and tried the stuff), i think the Hilton Singapore did a great job.  Overall, the prompt and attentive service, along with a splendid location right at the centre of Orchard Road makes this hotel a good alternative to some of the pricier hotels along the Marina Bay area.

Hotel unable to provide me with charging cable to my room. This is my first hotel that a hotel can’t provide me any cable. I have to get out from the hotel and walk to the 7 eleven store in the middle of the night and paid $26 just for 1 cable. Ps, please go beyond Hilton Hotel, dont stop halfway in serving your customer/client. You did well but not enough to end me with a pleasant memories.

Breafast was very good , a lot of food from different place , brand new renovated Hotel , but room quite small to the price

The hotel location is super convenient for travellers who want to do shopping and food hunting. Its all surrounding by malls

Enjoyed staying here. Best location and the food at the hotel restaurants were all good. Highly recommended!

Didn’t change bed linens throughout our stay (3 nights), have to call and request them to change it. The reception doesn’t repeatedly confirm with us whether the room was made and we need the bed linens changed still. We are under the impression that they intentionally not change it

Newly renovated hotel so rooms are nice and modern. Executive lounge food was lacking. Swimming pool is too small but gym is quite well-equipped.

Great restaurant options. Location is amazing and staffs are friendly

Nice location, service was great. One thing I dislike about was the FD officer told me that she got me updated, unfortunately it was not true, it was exactly the room type I paid for, the worst thing was she offered a connecting room, I could clearly hear people talking behind the door every night, also there was no view at all.
