It's our 6th time doing a local StayCation over here. Everything is okay except that there is no metal rod bar being installed at the bath tub. So l told my eldery mum to be very careful after her shower. Would suggest that the Management will look into the installation of a metal rod bar. Other than this, we are very happy and have enjoyed our comfortable stay as it's a long weekend and it also coincides with Mother's Day. There is no waiting time for Check-In process. It was smooth sailing, good and efficient. The staff have allocated a hotel room nearer to the lift. Was grateful with thanks for it due to my mum's mobility issues.The cakes, pastries and tea/coffee served at the Divine Cafe were good. Wonderful service being served with a warm welcome smile always. Excellent. Keep it up always. We will be back soon for another StayCation once again. Thank you very much. Cheers.

The breakfast overall is good and serve started from 6am, but the bathroom is quite old and water is not that strong, each floor got water dispenser and ice maker at level 4, I will give 6/10 at this stay

Good location with near changi airport and new travel spot place like Joo chiat. Room is clean and comfortable. Tab water is drinkable. Good value

Hotel reception very friendly. Concierge very friendly and cleaners also super nice. Pool is okay and enough chairs are available. Overall a fantastic stay. Shopping and food is just 5 min walk.

Nice hotel, needs alot of cleaning, didn’t find the rooms completely clean. Facilities need to be upgraded, overall it was okay.

Good location, opposite to marina parade mrt and 2 shopping malls are within walking distance.  the room has a good size and there is bathtub in the room. The concierge is very helpful.  Breakfast is great bit of a variety of food, such as Indian, Chinese and American breakfast. I love fish noodle station. I had a great time here and will be back again next year.  There is a big food court which can be reached within 5 minutes. We requested for the low floor so we got fifth floor.

For what they charge the room is old and carpets stained. Walls look old and need painting and edges chipped in many places. Has an old musty smelly which they try to mask with an air freshener typa thing. The staff is noisy and between around 7-9 am loud outside the door. Bugs often in the room like cockroaches. Laundry is expensive even the launderette which seemed not clean to be honest. $7 for a wash and $14 for a wash and drier.

Good location with lots of food and few minutes walk to mrt station . Recommend to book this hotel prefect for families. No standing type of shower need to go up the high bathtub which can be slippery .

Next to metro station and opposite parkway parade shopping mall. Very big and cosy room. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel environment is wonderful with walking distance grocery mart stall and nearby night hawker stalls

Great location, immediately next to the MRT, and walking distance to the beach park. Breakfast buffet is really good

Our family had a very wonderful time staying at Grand Mercure East booked 2 rooms from 29th Jan to 31st Jan I would like to thank Ms Sham from Sales dept for arranging an Elderly Friendly room for my 96 year old mother. As for myself, I, too, enjoyed the room assigned by the front desk staff, John . We also enjoyed the Cafe food served on the 1st floor. Ms. JULIET, the staff from this cafe was very professional putting her *SWEET SMILE * all day long and she patiently walked us through the menu and highly recommended us the Chef speciality dishes . Most important was my mum enjoyed the dish Hai Cheong Kai which was Highly recommendedby Ms Juliet...The hotel location is fantastic ,many local food eateries, a Mall is just 5 mins across the hotel. In addition, the Train station is just 5 mins walk directly opposite this hotel* Superb convenient for overseas visitors arrival at Changi airport to this hotel* Juliet keeps up your *Fantastic Good Service *. You made Grand Mercure Hotel proud as your service is SUPERB GOOD .*Juliet deserves a promotion* .. We definitely will recommend friends to stay at Grand Mercure hotel. Thank you Ms Sham John and Juliet for making our CNY 2 nights stays so wonderful .

This hotel experience was disappointing despite reasonable pricing for Singapore. The room had a moldy smell, indicating poor maintenance, and there was insufficient staff to clean rooms promptly. Water quality was subpar, with unappealing tap water and no provision for filling reusable bottles. Food delivery on New Year's Eve was frustrating, requiring payment at the door and malfunctioning card taps. Overall, while the staff were professional, the management's failure to address basic operational issues significantly marred the stay, overshadowing any positive aspects of the hotel.
