Village location outside of siem reap so you need to rent a scooter ( only $5 per day) the dirt road to the home is a bit dodgy for novice riders, especially after rain. The garden however, is a lovely peaceful place to have a morning cuppa. The family whose, home it is seem lovely but the son who speaks good English no longer lives there, which can make things a little awkward. They could really do with a written info sheet in the rooms explaining how everything works, what services they can and can't offer etc. You are staying in a family home in a rural village so you may share the bathroom with a frog, there may be tissue in the toilet, there may not. My stay would have been so much more enjoyable if I had had some more information, then I would have felt less like I was invading a family and more like a guest.
