I will absolutely not recommend or book again this hotel. Very noisy hotel . I am from catering industry, and I did recognise that the hotel have apprentice staff working. But those same staff did make massive noise and party during that night at the hotel so we couldn't sleep until 1AM. Thanks to the receptionist and security guard that resolved quickly the problem . Hotel is very old and need massive refreshments. Room pictures have been photoshop big time!!!

It's a great hotel with a perfect location

Excelente ubicación central, lo que alguna vez fue un gran hotel ahora un poco descolorido. Llegamos en coche y nos alegramos de poder aparcar junto al hotel (el hotel dispone de algunas plazas de aparcamiento para huéspedes en la plaza al lado del hotel). Visitamos como una familia de cuatro y reservamos una habitación para los cuatro descrita como una suite familiar de lujo. En realidad, eran dos habitaciones dobles estándar contiguas; uno tenía un baño junto al dormitorio y el otro tenía la entrada y un baño. Las camas estaban bien. Los muebles estaban bien. Había una unidad de aire acondicionado en una de las habitaciones, era bastante ruidosa y no muy efectiva, así que estuvo bien, pero podría haber sido mejor. El baño tenía una pequeña bañera con ducha, por lo que no había opción de pararse y ducharse. El agua que salía de los grifos de la bañera era de un color ligeramente amarillo. La llave de la habitación era una tarjeta de plástico antigua que se insertaba en la puerta; teníamos cuidado al colocar la llave, pero todos los días una llave dejaba de funcionar y teníamos que ir al escritorio para pedir una nueva. Los pasillos estaban bastante oscuros, con una alfombra descolorida con el monograma del hotel en todas partes. La zona de recepción del hotel era agradable y tenía algunos asientos que los huéspedes podían utilizar allí. A la piscina y al spa en el sótano solo se podía acceder por escaleras: bajamos en traje de baño y nos alegramos de haberlo hecho. Disfrutamos usando la piscina y las instalaciones, pero no nos quedamos mucho tiempo. La piscina es pequeña; fue construido para tener jacuzzi y áreas de hidroterapia, pero estos no parecían funcionar, y si lo hubieran hecho habrían dominado la piscina. Había algunas tumbonas al lado de la piscina y también una sauna y un baño de vapor. El gimnasio estaba en una zona completamente diferente del hotel: bajando unas escaleras cerca de la recepción: el gimnasio era deficiente: una bicicleta estática que no parecía tener tensión alguna; una máquina en funcionamiento que dejó de funcionar abruptamente después de diez minutos de uso; y algunas pesas. El desayuno estaba disponible en 3 franjas horarias: desde las 07.30, desde las 08.30 o desde las 09.30. La selección de comida era buena, incluidos algunos pasteles muy buenos y una buena fruta. Había escalones para ingresar a la sala de desayunos, por lo que quizás no sea ideal para todos. También comimos en el restaurante en frente del hotel; nos atendió alguien que parecía muy apagado, no contento, pero la comida era muy buena. En la calle peatonal exterior hay muchas tiendas, cafeterías, restaurantes y muchos puestos de helados. Está a sólo unos pasos de la plaza principal y del Museo Brukenthal. Sentí que este hotel podría haber sido fantástico con quizás un poco de inversión y algunos ajustes aquí y allá. Sin embargo, no hay nada mejor que la ubicación y funcionó para nosotros.

El hotel está idealmente ubicado en una calle peatonal muy céntrica cerca de Piata Mare (Grand Place) con su Museo Bruckental. El edificio es bastante antiguo con habitaciones concebidas en el siglo XIX. Por esta razón se hizo una modernización con limitaciones destinadas a proteger los edificios antiguos. El aire acondicionado se hace con unidades de habitación, ruidosas e inconvenientemente ubicadas cerca de la cama. El desayuno era excelente y el restaurante se ve bien. Los recepcionistas están haciendo su trabajo con cuidado y profesionalismo. El hotel dispone de plazas de aparcamiento reservadas en un parking de las inmediaciones. Desafortunadamente, algunas características denotan aficionado y pueden normalizarse fácilmente para un hotel de 4 estrellas. De hecho, mi junior suite se hizo uniendo dos habitaciones estándar. Esto tiene la ventaja de 2 baños. Pero en la llamada sala de estar se coloca una cama para una persona adicional. ¡Puedes ver la televisión solo acostado en la cama! El sofá O está en la habitación, pero colocado en la misma pared que el televisor. Su presencia, además de una silla, es superflua y se hace para cumplir al nivel de las exigencias del hotel. El tubo del baño está equipado con una cortina de plástico que se pega al cuerpo al ducharse, debido a algunas leyes hidrodinámicas. Un separador de plástico es la solución que encuentra en muchos buenos hoteles. Los cubos de basura de las habitaciones y del baño no tienen tapa. Los contenedores de pedal baratos están disponibles en gran medida en todo el mundo, incluido Sibiu. Recomendaría que el gerente del hotel se quede en una de las habitaciones durante varios días para sentir lo que siente un pasajero.

A perfectly located location in the old center of the city. Unfortunately, the hotel is really expensive for what it offers. At this time of the year, when it's cold outside, a warm shower when returning from walks is all what you want. Unfortunately this does not happen. The hot water is actually cold and the temperature in the room does not contribute to a pleasant atmosphere at all, being much too cold even for a person used to living at temperatures of 18-20 degrees regardless of the season. The rooms are old and do not correspond at all to a 4-star hotel. It is not worth wasting your money on this hotel! I still gave 2 stars for the location of the hotel and for the kindness of the reception staff, even though they knew they couldn't solve the problem of heat and hot water...

Positives: Hotel has great central location with shopping area, big cosmetics store and restaurant right in front of it. Quite impressive main reception area, good breakfast selection. Negatives: for hotel that clearly put so much thought into decorating the foyer, rooms feel a bit old and work out, esp. The outdated bathroom ; old windows with paint peeling off, stained, yellowed bath. It felt old and worn out. There was a very old fashioned air conditioner on the floor next to bed that was very noisy, impossible to sleep with it being on. And the worst part, weird smell from the bathroom. In the morning we experienced a brief power cut during the breakfast. Hotel might look impressive from outside but I was not impressed with rooms, they desperately need renovating.

We stayed at this hotel in February for Valentine's Day and did not regret our choice for a minute. The hotel is very comfortable and really cares about its customers. I'm surprised that this site gave the hotel such a low rating. I would give it 10/10 for everything. We checked into the hotel very quickly. Our room was on the second floor. We rode the elevator a couple of meters once and later we only used wonderful stairs with portrets on the wall. The room had 2 toilets. The cleanliness is perfect. Silence. We were especially pleased with all the hotel amenities in the room, from shampoos to bed linen, bathrobes and slippers, which were of high quality. No cheap synthetics. I like it when you pay money and you can see what you paid for. The interior is very beautiful and unusual. The hotel is cozy. Lots of places to relax and take beautiful photos. Breakfast in the restaurant had a lot of choice and all the food was very tasty. In the evening we visited the spa complex with a swimming pool and sauna, which was also included in the room payment. The water in the pool was warm and clean, just like a bath. I saw that some people wrote that the hotel’s interior Baroque style is outdated. I completely disagree. This hotel definitely has its own zest and charm and it brightly complements the impressions of the city itself with its unique centuries-old history. It's sad when hotels in different countries are similar to each other, differing only in the color of the vases or walls. Over time, they are simply erased from memory. In this case, I have vivid memories of the city of Sibiu thanks to this hotel. The hotel is located in an old beautiful building on the central pedestrian street. It was very convenient to explore the city, making circles along the ancient streets, past small taverns and shops and then, tired, returning to the oasis of comfort and coziness right in the center of the tourist area. I especially want to note the high-quality work of the staff. All the employees with whom we had the opportunity to communicate were very friendly and helped us sincerely. We were received as their guests. I recommend this hotel for romantic couples.

The Hotel is situated on the pedestrian street in Sibiu full of restaurants and shops—very central , 30 m from The Big Square . We had a superior room , very spacious . The Hotel is pleasantly decorated . The breakfast needs some improvements (bread freshness and food diversity ) .Personel very attentive and courteous , especially Miss Raluca . The Hotel's restaurant is good .

The hotel is very well located, right in the center of the pedestrian area, and its clean and renovated appearance gives you the confidence to stay here. The parking is right behind the hotel and is guarded, another good thing. Everything is fine until you get to the room, where you have many unpleasant surprises: outdated appearance, chipped sanitary ware, yellowed by the deposited stone, doors that do not close, bad smell in the bathroom and the most disturbing - the air conditioning. It is placed on the floor and when you turn it on it makes a terrible noise. Impossible to sleep at night with it on, and the open window is useless on hot nights. I don't have much to say about the food except that I had only one breakfast, which was correct. Although I liked the appearance and style of this hotel, I will not return here, especially in the summer.

We stayed for 2 nights . Sibiu is very nice and we wanted to stay in the center of the city . The room was very nice , clean and confortable . They don’ t have coffee makers in the room but at the breakfafast we found a good coffee . They also have a pool very nice , warm water , very clean , wonderful , relaxing , no crowded because the visit must be announced . At the spa we had a very good massage , arround 30€ ! We liked this hotel , we ‘ ll come back certanly !
