Cheap

Clean and tidy but showing a bit of wear. Bed needed a new mattress or a topper as you could feel the springs. Breakfast ok but a lot of the items on the cooked buffet were not hot.

Lovely building exterior and both the bar and restaurant are nice, however the hotel is a little happy. It needs a lick of paint and replacement carpets. The rooms and furniture are really old fashioned. The hairdryer and the bath plug was missing from the room. It took over two hours to supply these.

The hotel was very friendly and clean would stay there again.

The twin room was definitely far better than double room I have stayed in previously. The hotel is gradually being refurbished and some areas are better than others. Going in the right direction

One of the window handlesnwas broken so i couldnt shut the window, it made the room rather cold

No lift, no gym, no sauna. Too expensive for a hotel without the metioned facilities

Make the "No Entry" exit to the property less prominent / signed because easy to spot in the dark at night on a busy road but very hard to then quickly read that the actual "Entrance" is next left

We had a lovely stay but unfortunately we paid £144 for the weekend and was not informed when booked that the pool facilities would be closed very disappointed to pay this much and not get what we paid for

It was very disappointing after entering into a nice reception area to find the room to be so old, outdated and in need of repair (broken window with no handle meaning it was open all night, bathroom sink plug was stuck meaning no water drained) the carpet was awful, the bed base ripped and stained. There was no mattress protector between the sheet and mattress which I find pretty unhygienic. Just very very disappointing.

To be fair a large and reasonably comfortable hotel with a range of facilities in an accessible location. But the water pressure in the shower was terrible. And the refurbishment work starting with a drill outside our window at 7.30am did little to enhance our stay. Rooms unremarkable, ok but tired, and no usb port to use the Wi-Fi. Just average with some irritating points.

It was terrible. Rooms are in bad shape, walls covered with mould. Lift is not working and it has not been since my last visit several months ago. I booked a room with king bed and realised they have put together 2 single mattresses which too were in bad condition.

Great location and excellent price.

Booked for the pool and was closed for refurbishment, was not warned or emailed. Very loud could hear everything going on next door. Rubbish mattresses.
