An honest 4/5 review for this property. The initial bits of my stay were severely tampered because of the staff itself. The staff members lie, that’s correct - they lie to their paying guests and there is zero sense of transparency. Upon my arrival at the hotel - I asked if they had any rooms available for a PAID upgrade as I simply wanted to enhance the stay experience. Initially the staff member (Rohit) said that they do not have any complimentary upgrades available when in reality I never asked for a complimentary upgrade. Anyways, he ended up showing a Superior room which just had the balcony slightly larger hence I stuck to my room since it was fantastic enough. I was travelling with another couple - my brother & sister in law and even without asking, they gave us interconnecting rooms. Interconnecting rooms are not an issue as long as they are private and sound proof. But over here, not at all! You could hear every word that a person would say with those interconnecting set. Whilst trying to sort this interconnecting issue and getting a staff member to attend to me - I asked for a Manager almost 3 times where all I got in response from that guy was that I am the Front Office Executive and refrained from getting a Manager in front of me. Hence I went downstairs and demanded for a Manager to come out. I ended up speaking to a Manager - Pratibha - extremely lovely and professional lady! She heard my concerns and understood what I was feeling. She was kind enough to move our rooms to another floor. Little did we know that she moved our rooms to the Superior room category which was a very kind gesture from her. I offered to pay for the second room upgrade but she insisted it was in lieu of the issue that I had faced. Pratibha was one of the major highlight of this stay - she was extremely empathetic, kind & caring. Funnily enough in my conversation with her - I get to know that there is a Deluxe Cottage room available if I wanted to pay for that upgrade. I was naturally very startled by that because I was initially told that there were no rooms available to upgrade at the start. I then had felt as if the property was doing me a favour by hosting me. Although I had given up on chasing this since I wanted to settle in and unwind. Positive bits: The Bar in the lobby and the staff in it are an absolutely fantastic team! A huge shoutout to Rajat - the Bartender. If it wasn’t for him, I would have not had such an enjoyable stay. After learning of all the shenanigans that happened with me, he was very empathetic as well and made sure my experience was turned around. This review has received a 4/5 just because of Pratibha and Rajat - apart from them, the Rooms staff have a lot more work to do in terms of their honesty and interacting with paying guests. Breakfast was also very delicious with kind and attentive staff members. Hence, an honest review of my experience - a fantastic physical product with gorgeous views of the Valley. And a ve
