"The first-floor room was semi-basement, damp and a bit musty. The third-floor room was better. However, the hotel is old and the design has some issues. It was quite a walk from the lobby to the room, and the key card couldn't open the back door; I had to run around a lot. I won't choose this hotel again."

"This was our first trip to Virginia and the Shenandoah National Park. We booked with Donna our hostess with the mostess. It was a beautiful country BnB near the Shenandoah river. Crickets chirping at night, birds, wildlife and acres of corn. Our breakfast was excellent, coffee very good and a very interesting couple from Belgium. I highly recommend the Inn. "The sheets are 100% cotton. It was a cold evening, the room had plenty of blankets, the beds were comfortable. Personal touches included a sound machine, allergy resistant pillows, eco-friendly bath products. The farmhouse grounds are beautiful, with a ground checkers game, fire pit. The grounds were well lit at night. I would return to the Family Farmhouse Inn."
