My family and I stayed here for one night, I wish we could have stayed longer, the room is new and huge, and has a spectacular view of the ocean. The breakfast is delicious. In summary, it offers good value for money.

Nice view

Ww had a wonderful time at Daiichi Shiretoko hotel. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was amazing. Super huge range of food and free flow of alcohol. We met many wonderful service staff who are friendly and helpful. Especially kudos to Yamada-san. Cheerful, friendly and we observed he was super hardworking all day long, managing different roles and the younger staff.

Very beautiful resort and overall value for money stay. The buffet dinner is acceptable , the plus point is the free flow of beer and alcoholic beverage . There is souvenir shop inside the resort to do some shopping and the onsen is not bad too

The location of the hotel is great if you drive. Otherwise, I can imagine how troublesome it is to get up to the hotel. Parking is free and plentiful. The buffet dinner has a host of alcoholic drinks to choose from; wine, sake to high ball. The range of food available makes it very difficult for one to choose but the freshly cooked tempura is my favourite. The shizen wing side has a nice view of the sea and setting sun. The hotel is quite dated but rooms are generally spacious and clean.

Booked a twin beds room but the hotel gave a suite which was very spacious and also, had tatami to sleep 6 persons. The buffet meals are delicious for both dinner and breakfast. The room can view the Oranko Rock as well as the sunset.

One of the best hotels I've ever been to. The room was excellent, the food is delicious. It's 14 km away from Shiretoko-Goko-Nationalpark and just 1 km to the cruise ships. After hiking, you can enjoy the onsen of the hotel.

Buffet variety was amazing than I expected. Hospitality was good even though I couldn't get a luggage rack successfully from the frontdesk. Overall, will recommend to others for stay.

second time visiting Eastern Hokkaido and chose to stay once again in this hotel. The buffet dinner was good with all the sashimi and various dishes such as local dishes, western, chinese, sushi, ramen, tempura, and free beer , liquor and wine etc. Breakfast was also with lots of varieties . the Onsen has many pools . There is also an open area at the lobby with books and children play pens. We drove, so it was convenient for us . Eastern Hokkaido is nice with the nature parks , seen foxes, deers and bears (if you are lucky to spot one)

It was the best hotel I reserved during my Hokkaido trip. The hotel is not new but the service and facilities were very good. The breakfast was excellent and the room is more than spacious.

Good buffet and nice onsen

Fantastic Onsen hotel..located on the hill top, all rooms assigned overlooking into the OKHOTSK SEA, with huge room and shower room are separated from the WC. The hotel provide a shuttle bus from UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL and will pick up guests from here. Another good point is,there is a Airport Bus Liner which comes direct to the hotel to pick guestyfor drop off at Shiretoko Shari Bus terminal enroute to Mambabetsu Airport. The breakfast is really yummy with lots of spread however the buffet dinner is average and the same spread for the two nites I stayed. Where else the ONSEN, I would give a 4/5. Another good point to note is those coming by train to Shiretoko Shari station, opposite is the Shari Bus terminal which provides transer to the UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL.in about 50 mins. Overall Shireto Daiichi Hotel is a big luxurious hotel and they provide shuttle for onwards bus transfer to the SHIRETOKO NATURE PARK which is so beautiful to wander out to seek nature's awesomeness.

Their policy of cleaning room service only once in 2 days is not reasonable.
