The Bower Inn ★★★★★

📍 Bower Ln, Bridgwater Without

"The main destination of this trip is Glastonbury Tor and the city center. The location of the hotel is about 30 minutes drive from where I want to travel, but we are traveling by car and there is no big impact. The hotel has free parking. The room was very clean and tidy. I lived in a twin room. The room was large enough and there were welcome homemade cookies. Every staff member was courteous and enthusiastic. The breakfast and dinner food are first-class, and the chef's intentions can be seen. The hotel has an environmental protection concept and appreciates it."

"Had a very good stay overnight in family room. Specious and extra comfy beds. Breakfast is the best, lots of options especially for vegans and gluten free. Kids loved their french toast. All staff are very polite and helpful. Super clean and excellent location."

"Apart from not giving small toothbrush and toothpaste, amenities are ok. Not enough lighting system at night in the room and thus will be tricky for study (like staying the night before exam but rare occasion, isn’t it) otherwise, nice room and smell"

"We had booked to stay overnight in February 2024 and sadly I was admitted to hospital in an emergency and my partner phoned the owner to explain the situation and said please could we reschedule to a future date. My partner has contacted him twice and he said that he would check the diary and get back…. Waited and no response. Called again this morning and as soon as he knew who it was he hung up. Yet rooms are available as I’ve checked online. Absolutely awful service."
