"I’ll start with the good— Margherita. What a wonderful person and host. She went out of her way to help us with the issues we encountered and was just so kind and warm. I feel badly to say anything negative because she was so helpful, but these points are important to share. This hotel shouldn’t have a four star rating. It is very basic. Our room was quite run down, very small, worn furniture, dark bathroom with a very weird shower. But— The biggest issue is the parking. There simply isn’t any. The nearby lot is always full, and the street parking is impossible. I’d suggest not booking here if you are driving. The location is good for restaurants and access to town. And breakfast was good."

"Very relaxing quirky designer hotel upgraded within a week preserved nineteenth century shell. Loved it for its quirks as shown in the hotel pictures. It grows on you. We loved it. Great location and Donnalucata is real off the beaten track Sicily with lovely beaches and plenty of local eateries in the vicinity of the hotel. Santo and his staff could not have been more charming or helpful in every way. Nice pool and private off road parking. Great value and lovely holiday chill experience on our 14 day touring adventure of Sicily."

"Charming old palazzo in the very heart of Scicli. High ceilings and authentic furniture. Only stayed for one night, but enjoyed the luxury. Very clean. Communication with our host was very good and they very kindly waited for us when we arrived late at night."

"Just returning from a relaxing 10night stay. We loved the hotel layout and the gardens are beautiful, get a delux room if you can, as you get additional benefits which are worth it. The Pool is amazing and there are always plenty of beds. The beach is beautiful, and again you can always get a bed. The own is a ten minute walk and we recommend the seafood restaurant on the beach front Rabbuso trattoria di Mare (excellent). We were half board, as it’s not easy to get to the town at night and taxis are expensive. Their pizza option is excellent. Overall we would recommend"

"B&B Scicli es un hermoso lugar para permanecer; situado en una típica calle de escalera de piedra siciliana, (hay bastantes pasos para llegar allí!), pero Massimo host estará allí para conocerte y llevar sus bolsillos a las escaleras! Los apartamentos están ahogados en un hermoso patio, lleno de plantas y flores, y están limpios y cómodamente decorados. Pero el mejor de B&B Scicli es Massimo, que no puede ser un host más amigable o obligatorio. Massimo se va a salir de su camino para hacer su estancia lo más cómoda y agradable posible, recomendando restaurantes, las mejores playas y cómo llegar allí, y todo lo que debe ver y hacer en su visita a Scicli. Gracias a Massimo, hemos vuelto a Scicli muchas veces y consideramos que es una segunda casa!"
