"We came off-season; the hotel was empty, beautiful architecture, very clean, and quiet. Our room (the cheapest) directly overlooked the parking lot. Power outages abounded, no upgrades or other assistance was offered, and the hot water came and went, unbearably. The breakfast was simple, but the dining room was pleasant. In season, it must be very, very noisy. The hotel is far from everything; a car is essential. In short, I wouldn't come back, too bad."

"Casa Dell Aromatario is modern, light-filled, beautifully decorated with plants and has all the right touches. It appears that no expense was spared in constructing the B&B from an ancient church property. The room where you take breakfast has been carved out of rock and is an architectural beauty. Although it was too chilly to take advantage of the rooftop terrace it looks perfect for late afternoon drinks or just lounging and taking in the view. But what makes this place really special are the hosts, Silvio and his brother Carmelo. They are the most accommodating and helpful hosts with restaurant recommendations and other information and will do anything to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible."

"Teníamos reservada una estancia de dos noches y nos decepcionó la ubicación del hotel, justo en la carretera. La vista del puerto desde el aparcamiento, a pocos minutos, estaba obstruida por barreras metálicas, lo que le daba un aire industrial a la zona. Las fotos del puerto en la página web no muestran las grandes estructuras de hormigón que se ven desde las ventanas del primer piso; quizás se pueda disfrutar de una mejor vista desde las habitaciones con balcón. No teníamos fuerzas para subir las escaleras hasta el centro de Sciacca, ya que hacía muchísimo calor y había pocas opciones para comer cerca del hotel. Con temperaturas que rondaban los treinta y tantos grados, el mal funcionamiento del aire acondicionado en nuestras dos habitaciones fue muy incómodo, así que no nos quedamos la segunda noche. Quizás si hubiéramos estado en las habitaciones más nuevas de las que había leído, la experiencia habría sido diferente. El personal fue muy amable y las habitaciones estaban limpias."
