"We returned after one year expecting the excellent service and food we experienced. Unfortunately they changed the cook and lowered the service. The food offered for a diner is un- tasty trial of a modern style cuisine. Cold dish without any taste and very small portions. Even if you are a guest in accommodation they charge you for restaurant service. Breakfast - 8:00-10:00 - but you have to come early, otherwise no full choice available. Bakery - they offer only few pieces of fresh white buns everyday, quickly gone and than you have selection only of white toast bread (if available) or only old, dry Italia white bread most probably left over from dinner. No a single piece whole grain bakery. "

"Unfortunately, our stay at Podere Prataccio did not meet expectations. While the property itself has potential (hence the two stars), we were very disappointed by the attitude of the hosts, who were unwelcoming and, at times, openly rude. I advise potential visitors to see the google reviews which exhibit some repeated issues of the same kind. In any case, we focused on other things and had a great time in the region: some beautiful sites and vineyards to visit , and amazing restaurants. Hospitality is a core part of any stay, and in the case of these hosts, it was sorely lacking. Future guests should be aware of several important details that are not made fully clear in advance: – The swimming pool closes entirely at 6:30PM, which is quite limits its usability during summer evenings. – Internet access (both wifi and 4G) is not available at all in the tents – Accommodations are smaller than described on the website."
