Great location, free happy hour drinks and snacks as well as afternoon treats in the lobby. Reception was not very friendly.

Wow, how to begin. The hotel and rooms are quite beautiful and the never ending view along the river with the almost constant movement of gigantic ships, is mesmerized. The location is also perfect with enough restaurants and shops within close proximity that you can find plenty to keep occupied even on the occasional rainy day. Now, with all that said, a caveat to any travelers wanting any semblance of rest. The second floor rooms are pure nightmare. There appears to be some sort of a supply room on that floor. The staff likes to use it for rather loud gossip and partying and when not in use by the staff, there apparently is a bowling league practice in there! The noise from tables and chairs and dishes being moved around at times even late into the night is just aggregating! The walls offer absolutely NO help in reducing the racket. Would we return to River Street Inn again? YES! As a matter of fact, we can't wait to return but, only if we would be guaranteed a room on the 4th or 5th floor!

Hotel is beautiful some things are old and broken though. It’s in a good spot on riverstreet they are very accommodating and relaxed. The bed is very comfortable for the cost they should maybe invest in fire tvs or Roku cable just hasn’t been it for atleast 5 years

We were greeted by Brice with the valet service. He was super friendly and helpful. Wally at the front desk was great as well. We wound up not getting the room I booked, but suitable accommodations were made. The nightly complementary happy hour was great and David did an awesome job running that show. The first night, we were bothered by a loud ice machine that was noisy until about midnight. We questioned the lady at the front desk about the noise and she was rude and did not seem to want to be bothered by us. Wally had already made arrangements for us to move to another room the next day, so we knew we would be away from that noise. I had booked a room with a king bed and balcony overlooking the river. The first night, we had a king bed, but no balcony. The second night, we had a balcony, but only a queen bed. We survived, though, and will probably give this place another shot in the future. Great location and lots of history!

First-time at the hotel & it was beautiful, great location right in the river. The boats going by our room were amazing. We were hooing fir ghosts but they must have busy with other guests....LoL We will return some day! My favorite part was coffee/tea each morning & hot cocoa bar each evening.

This was an amazing inn for our first visit to Savannah. The inn is extremely charming, clean and comfortable within easy access to dining, shopping and sightseeing activities. We look forward to visiting again and highly recommend this inn for anyone looking to stay in Savannah

I love this place. The staff are always SO nice and helpful. The Inn is very convenient to EVERYTHING!! I love to be able to walk to everything. The weather was great too!!!

Great stay. Nice hotel. Decent price. Valet was $45 per night which we used but there was a parking deck that valet mentioned for $15 that we could have used. Free hot chocolate, marshmallows, chocolates, etc. which the kids enjoyed. The location is absolutey fantastic!
