He estado en el Hotel Timton 8 días y ahora puedo presentar mi propia opinión sobre este hotel. La ubicación y las vistas desde el balcón son impresionantes. El hotel ofrece música en vivo por las noches (junto con la vista al mar, es perfecta). Estas fueron las ventajas de este hotel. Ahora vayamos a las desventajas (hay muchas). Servicio: Después de registrarnos, nos dimos cuenta de que el televisor de nuestra habitación estaba roto (mira las fotos subidas), la caja fuerte también estaba rota, la cisterna del inodoro funcionaba de vez en cuando. Avisamos al personal, que después de un tiempo nos dijo que todos los sistemas habían sido revisados ​​y reparados (pero todo estaba absolutamente igual, no funcionaba). Comida: Todos los días el hotel te sirve los mismos tipos de platos (alrededor de 20 o 30 tipos) y casi no hay cambios en los platos (excepto 2 o 3). La isla de Hainan es muy rica en frutas, pero el hotel te servirá solo 2 de ellas (naranja fresca y sandía, o melón y guayaba, etc.). Las frutas tradicionales de Hainan son frutas enlatadas, lo que me parece muy decepcionante (recuerde que se hospeda en un hotel de 5 estrellas). Habitación: Aparte de los problemas que se mencionaron anteriormente, hay más relacionados con las habitaciones en sí. Muebles viejos, ubicación muy incómoda de los interruptores de luz de la habitación y sus modos de funcionamiento (algunos interruptores no hacen nada). Además, no hay luz en el balcón donde se encuentra la bañera (no hay seguridad en absoluto). La ausencia de puerta y ventanas en el baño (hay cortinas en lugar de puertas/ventanas), tal decisión no la puedo entender desde el punto de vista lógico). Conclusión: Me decepcionó que este hotel por una cantidad tan grande de dinero brinde un servicio tan deficiente. Recomiendo encarecidamente que revise dos veces su decisión si desea hospedarse aquí.

The hotel is OLD, and it is managed like an old property. I paid extra for the ocean view room, and the view was great. The staff are friendly and helpful. That about all I can say positively about this place. The decor and furniture was dated and some were torn. The pool was big but poorly managed. The swim-up bar was closed permanently with towels and clothes hanging in there. No towels available at the pool (so I have to walk back to my room to get them). It's like the Management didn't even bother to make the place look nice. I booked for 2 nights and had to leave just after one night, and most likely NEVER GO BACK. The hotel did agree to refund my prepaid but unused night, with thanks.

Excellent hotel, I really enjoyed my stay there: it was comfortable, peaceful and family friendly; the room has a vintage nostalgia design; the view from the bath tub on a tenth floor balcony was great; it is five minutes walk from the pleasant seashore (great for early morning moonlight to sunrise strolls); there was a wide food selection for the breakfast buffet. The only improvements needed were that some of the room amenities were absent (no wall attached shaving/vanity mirror with light) or needed replacing (the body weight scales and TV). However, for the latter the staff were prompt and friendly, replacing my TV and scales soon after request. I would certainly consider staying there again!

The staffs really need to improve their service & attitude! The bath towels are old !

This hotel has all the prerequisites to be a hit. Unfortunately, some things need to be worked on to reach a really high standard, as I believe a five-star hotel should be. The main issue is the treatment of guests. The reception staff were excellent—very helpful and friendly. The same goes for the lady who checked the room numbers at breakfast. However, the rest of the staff did not provide a pleasant greeting. Upon our arrival, we were met with ver poor service from both the restaurant and pool staff. This was pointed out to the manager, who responded well. She contacted the relevant departments and compensated us. Nice! Unfortunately, there was no improvement in the service during the remainder of our stay; the staff continued to be unfriendly, unhelpful, and contributed to a less pleasant experience. Regarding the location, the hotel is great! It's close to the beach, has a nice pool, restaurants nearby, and is convenient for getting to and from the airport. The hotel is on the older side, but I think it works well, except for the public toilets that need more frequent cleaning. The functionality of the rooms also needs attention, as our bedside lamp was broken, and there was no hot water in the bathtub on the balcony. The breakfast is classic Chinese, with many dishes. It would have been nice to have more variation between days, but it's a good breakfast. The same goes for the afternoon tea the hotel offers—very pleasant! All in all, an okay experience, but I expected more from a hotel that claims to be five-star.

The hotel’s location is excellent for enjoying Sanya’s beach. My stay included breakfast and afternoon tea. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a hot tub on the balcony facing the sea and located on a high floor. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel has an old-style feel but is well maintained and clean. The lack of a laundry room was a disappointment. The breakfast and afternoon tea could be improved, as they lack a wow factor. Overall, it was a good stay, and the staff were polite and helpful.

There are a lot of mosquitoes in the room, I bought a mosquito spray but it did not help. Disgusting breakfast, there is nothing but vegetables, the restaurant did not count on a large number of guests. The air conditioner did not work. The hotel has deteriorated a lot.....
