No fue una mala estadía para unos días durante el feriado del Día Nacional. Incluso con la llegada tarde en la noche, el check-in se gestionó rápidamente y sin problemas con instrucciones claras para todos los servicios principales. Las habitaciones son como pequeños apartamentos, con cocina completa, lavadora/secadora y suficiente espacio de almacenamiento para el doble de huéspedes. Perfecto si pasas mucho tiempo en la playa o si llegas de otra parada en tus viajes. Este hotel se mantiene en tres edificios y funciona como un pequeño pueblo con su propia calle, bar con terraza, centro de ocio, restaurante y piscina. Las instalaciones para familias y niños pequeños son increíbles. Como viajero solo, disfruté del ambiente junto al bar y en la zona al aire libre más tranquila en el extremo más profundo de la piscina. El restaurante se especializa en comida malaya y singapurense; desafortunadamente, fue un poco impredecible para mí con otros platos, pero el desayuno fue de primera calidad y puedo recomendar encarecidamente su comida Cubby Burger, ¡increíble! También recomendaría conectarse en WeChat con el personal de recepción para facilitar la traducción. Las chicas del servicio de habitaciones no parecieron apreciar los carteles de “no molestar” en mi puerta y me despertaron dos veces llamando a la puerta e incluso llamando por teléfono a la habitación el primer día, ¡solo para que pudieran entrar a limpiar! Fue un poco excesivo para mí, ya que apenas había deshecho las maletas la noche anterior. Lo mejor es que le comuniques tus preferencias a la recepción directamente. Hay algunos lugares divertidos para visitar cerca de Dadonghai y muchas actividades de deportes acuáticos, tiendas, bares musicales y mercados nocturnos para experimentar también. Por el espacio, la comodidad y la conveniencia a un precio muy razonable, definitivamente puedo recomendar una estadía en el Ascott. Sin embargo, sé muy claro acerca de tus expectativas y no dejes ningún objeto de valor significativo sin vigilancia.

El hotel es muy bonito, las habitaciones son amplias y la vista también es genial. Hay algunos edificios muy singulares en el camino del hotel que son bastante hermosos. Vicky es muy amable y se comunica bien.

Good hotel with a nice view, not everything perfect, some strange smells at reception building, but overall is a great choice

Clean, comfortable, kudos to housekeeping team for keeping the room clean and sparky. Guest services desk was alright, did not experienced any wow moments from them.

Beautiful and satisfied stay. Room was clean and spacious. Ascott meets the international standards. Breakfast was just right with good balance of the local and western selection. Close enough to the beach access, and amenities were good. I'll definitely consider to stay here again.

2 years plus hotel is an excellent choice! Wen Ya, the manager and her staffs are highly praised! Ordered food in and was delivered by robot straight to the room. They have Mahjong room which is great! Chinese restaurant on 5th floor was excellent too!

The stay was overall okay, but it did not fully meet our expectations for a hotel positioned in the luxury segment. The check-in process felt rather impersonal. Guests were rarely greeted at reception, and communication was sometimes challenging due to the limited availability of English-speaking staff, so we relied on translation apps. The room was advertised as 48 sqm, but it appeared smaller and showed signs of wear, including limited soundproofing and several defects such as stained towels, a damaged TV remote and only one chair for two guests. One balcony door could not be fully closed; however, maintenance responded quickly, which we appreciated. Amenities felt limited, as bathroom items were provided at reception, only instant coffee was included, and Nespresso capsules required an extra charge. The WiFi connection was not always stable. Breakfast and check-out service were positive. At the pool, only a few loungers were available, and while the pool itself is large and well maintained, the pool area did not feel very inviting for longer stays. Overall, the value for money was a bit disappointing.

Everything was awesome. Nice cozy family atmosphere, nice breakfast, nice little gym, and quite atmosphere away from the noise but still the beach is across the street almost and not far assay from most of the amenities of Dadunghaj

Was given a very spacious one bedroom apartment with a nice sea view. Liked their cooking facilities and washing machine. Made travelling easier. Close to the beach and Lu Hui Tou which is a famous scenic spot.

Overall experience was ok, but during my trip encounter mild typhoon which was not heavy but the building was old and sliding window at living room, bedroom & toilet were so bad that having extremely loud battering noise that could not fall asleep and causing significant disturbance. Believe it was due to big gap and poor seals at all the windows while I did not encounter this at other hotels. Traveler who visit this place that expected to rain please avoid at all cost.

Hotel view was great and room is clean. Worth the price for short stay. The hotel staff was also great in assisting whatever needs required. Location was good in all. Certainly worth staying overall.

The location is perfect with views across the ocean without any major blockers (helps to have a high floor). Breakfast room was not as clean as it could be (messy guests!) but overall a really relaxing and pleasant stay.

Service is poor. I won’t recommend people to go, especially the staff asking u to give them 5stars rating, that’s so off the line, and it is not professional at all and this is ridiculous. Breakfast are bad, staff attitude need to improve, hardware is ok, software no good. Overall need improve, I give a 1 star rating at most…

It was our second time there and certainly not the last. A great hotel, with an excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. We would love to stay again!
