Finca Sa Bastida Luxury Retreat & Spa

Viajamos a Mallorca por primera vez y decidimos pasar la primera semana de nuestras vacaciones en este hotel por las preciosas fotografías. Terminamos extendiendo nuestra estadía aquí a un total de 15 días porque nos sentimos muy cómodos y bienvenidos. El hotel está situado en el centro de la isla y es de fácil acceso en coche. Es necesario alquilar un coche para el viaje ya que el hotel está algo alejado. Sineu y Petra son los siguientes pueblos más grandes donde también podrás cenar muy bien. El hotel está elevado para que tenga una gran vista del pueblo de Sineu, las montañas y los olivares. Todo es muy tranquilo y silencioso y es maravilloso relajarse. Los terrenos del hotel son muy espaciosos, hay un gran estacionamiento, una hermosa área de piscina con piscina infinita, bar y mesa de ping-pong. También hay un pequeño gimnasio y un jardín con olivos donde poder sentarse. El hotel dispone de una bonita zona de bienestar con sauna de vapor y sauna finlandesa, así como de una piscina cubierta. Como los primeros días fueron un poco frescos y lluviosos, estuvimos felices de usar y disfrutar la zona de spa. El hotel tiene una decoración muy elegante y romántica: muebles oscuros típicos españoles y muchos cuadros al óleo en habitaciones luminosas y modernas. La cama era muy cómoda y la habitación estaba muy limpia. La limpieza de la habitación normalmente sólo se realizaba a la hora del almuerzo, para que usted pudiera relajarse en su habitación después del desayuno. Al comienzo de nuestra estancia recibimos una bienvenida muy cálida, nos permitieron entrar directamente a la habitación por la mañana y también recibimos una generosa mejora de la habitación a una suite junior. Georgi nos mostró el hotel y nos contó mucho sobre la historia del edificio y del hotel. Decidimos comer en el restaurante del hotel la primera noche y ¡nos encantó! El interior es precioso y tiene algo muy especial gracias a las paredes antiguas y los grandes ventanales. La comida era de primera clase y nuestros deseos se cumplieron plenamente. El desayuno también fue muy generoso. Existe la opción de desayunar en el bonito patio, en la terraza o en el restaurante. Durante nuestra estancia, el desayuno se servía a la carta. Pero ahora, lo más destacado de nuestra estancia, ¡el servicio fue de primera clase! Georgi, Jhoanna, Krasimir, Noemí, Joan e Irena siempre estuvieron atentos a nosotros. Pasamos noches estupendas en el hotel y mantuvimos maravillosas conversaciones con ellos en alemán e inglés. Todos los deseos se cumplieron y todos siempre intentaron brindarnos la mejor estadía. ¡Nos gustaría agradecerle mucho por este gran momento! Muchos saludos Carola y Timo.

Everything from start to finish was a spectacular experience! The place is beautiful and peaceful, food was superb The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Finca Sa Bastida for anyone visiting

We stayed at Sa Bastida this summer, July 11-15, as the first part of our honeymoon. We could not have wished for a more romantic and overall perfect experience. All of the staff was super friendly and professional and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. Always happy to help with anything we needed. The hotel and our room was always clean and tidy. And everything felt new and fresh. The property is beautiful, charming and romantic, with many different areas outside and inside to enjoy at different times of the day. Our favorit part was of course our amazing suite, with a private jacuzzi on the terrace with a view over a beautiful landscape. The sound of sheep and birds surrounding the hotel in all directions added to the atmosphere of being somewhere far remote and special! A truly unforgettable stay. Beautiful place, amazing pool but atrocious service. Definitely not worth their charges. Staff who do not know what food they are serving, how to open a bottle of wine, where drinks are in the bar, how to put up/down pool umbrellas. A spa hotel with a broken steam room with the excuse that ‘the man who fixes it is on holiday in August!’ A very disappointing experience

Beautiful hotel in the Mallorca countryside. This was a treat for my husbands birthday. The grounds & pool area are beautiful as is the hotel itself, very clean. A lot of care & attention has been put into Finca Sa Bastida. The Spa is lovely (we didn’t use it but the receptionist said if we wanted to she would turn everything on 30mins before we used it). Our room was beautiful & tastefully decorated,nice bed linen & towel. We had a large terrace with jacuzzi also liked the Rituals toiletries. The food in the restaurant was 5* . The waitresses Alba & Milena were amazing nothing was too much bother they both worked super hard always with a smile. Breakfast was also very good with a good selection of hot & cold dishes. The Sky Bar was closed but maybe that’s a winter area. The reason I haven’t given 5* (this place could 100% be 5*) is there were a few things that let it down (nothing major, we would definitely recommend & return to Finca Sa Bastida). 1st they are very short staff but lucky they have such lovely hard working team every one we came across was lovely. We would have liked a pre dinner drink in the lovely cocktail bar but after sitting waiting around 10mins we just headed to dinner as no one serving at the bar. Another bar issue was they had run out of rosé wine by the glass when we went after dinner for a drink (turns out the waitresses were also covering the bar so no wonder there was no service before dinner! They were far too busy waiting tables) No 4/5* hotel should ever run out off wine by the glass if the house wine was finished they should be allowed to substitute. The pool bar has a very poor selection of food some easy tapas dishes would be nice or bread & olives. In the room there is a kettle which is good but no tea or coffee so perhaps remove the kettle or supply tea & coffee bags. Our jacuzzi was empty (which I liked) but there were no instructions on how to fill it. We asked at reception & nobody knew. This was one of the reasons we booked the room was to use the jacuzzi it was only when my husband said we would leave & go somewhere else that the receptionist came to the room she was very nice & managed to sort it for us. This is a very simple thing to fix! A set of instructions in the room. There was only one bottle of water in the room in all other hotels we have had two bottles. These are all easy things to sort & would make this 5* it deserves. All that said we had a lovely stay. Thank you to all the staff.

Newly opened and unestablished sadly. Beautiful location and great potential but hotel ownership seriously disappointing. Hotel staff (namely, William, Huyen & Rodika were exceptional) go truly above and beyond to accommodate stays in a hotel that is clearly not ready for guests and under ownership that has no idea how to run a hotel. It’s a great shame considering the potential that this hotel has given the location and architecture. Our stay was tainted by the ownership and sadly I wouldn’t return because of his unprofessional behaviour across the board. Perhaps if you’re not ready for guests don’t open? Or get a hotel manager, who is better versed in this field.
