Pensión San Vicente

I still don't understand what happened with my check-in, the TCs clearly say that check-in is from 15:00 - 21:00. After booking, I received a message asking me to check arrangements for checking in. I sent 2 messages (WhatsApp and the *********** app) neither of which got a reply. In my message I said I hoped to arrive at 4pm, more or less. I arrived at 3.45, rang the bell, no reply. I called the mobile number provided and said "I'm here" to which the woman replied "I'm not expecting you til 4". I asked if this meant I needed to wait 15 minutes and she said yes, she'd come down to let me in at 4. Which, to be honest, after a 7 hour motorbike ride, I could have done without. Additionally, she didn't arrive at 4. At 4.10 I called again and she came down to let me in, then seemed to have trouble finding the booking. However, the room was fine (for 28 euros a single en-suite room is a good deal) it was clean, the water was sufficiently hot. I have no idea why I couldn't get into the room on arrival, I'll put it down to confusion. Although this pension says 'no parking' actually, there's plenty of street parking right outside, although in high season you might struggle.
