Table Rock Lodge

We spent 3 nights at the Table Rock Jungle Lodge with our two teenage boys and absolutely loved it. The setting is serene and beautiful with the lodges spread out for privacy yet the dining room, pool, hammocks, and river are close by. The food was delicious and freshly made with specials each day. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful with a table waiting for us for reach meal. We arranged a tour through the lodge to go cave canoeing and the guide was friendly and shared so much history with us. We also did excursions on our own to Mountain Pine Ridge and the ruins and the staff provided us pointers. We also enjoyed the serene infinity pool, river float, game room, and animals on site. Highly recommend Table Rock Jungle lodge for your jungle visit.

We were incredibly grateful that Table Rock Jungle Lodge honored and extended our credit from COVID -- even years later. It was absolutely worth the wait. (A big thanks to Colleen for making it happen.) After visiting a few nearby resorts during our stay, we felt even more confident we chose the right place. Table Rock is laid back, beautiful, and unpretentious. The setting is lush and peaceful, with plenty to enjoy right on the property -- animals, a lovely pool, a scenic trail to the river, and hammocks perfect for relaxing. The lodge is intimate, with a small number of cottages spread out nicely. The vibe is friendly and casual, not at all snobby, and the other guests added to that welcoming feel. The staff was outstanding -- professional, responsive, and genuinely warm. Carla, the guest services manager, was especially helpful and communicative. Rodel and Zekion were quick to assist, Lilly at the restaurant always greeted us with a smile, and Oscar was a standout -- funny, attentive, and made a great rum drink (don’t miss happy hour!). The food was consistently delicious and very reasonably priced. Many of the items on the menu are sourced from the resort's garden and greenhouse. Laundry service was quick and affordable, which we appreciated. There’s so much to do nearby and having a car makes it easy to explore. We loved Upe Nai cooking school, Mountain Pine Ridge (Río On Pools and Río Frio Cave), Xunantunich and Cahal Pech ruins, the Belize Raptor Center, Green Iguana Conservation Project, and the Saturday market in San Ignacio. The Rainforest Medicine Trail at Chaa Creek was also fun. Have a burger outside at The Bluff. Carm’s is great for takeout baked goods (we didn’t get a chance to eat a meal there). Overall, Table Rock delivered exactly what we were hoping for -- relaxed, beautiful, and perfectly located. We would absolutely return.

Table Rock was an absolutely fantastic place to stay! The entire staff was phenomenal and made our stay incredible. They offer so many cool trips you can book through the lodge, many of which are guided by the staff. All of the staff are locals that have a wealth of knowledge about Belize. We went on a day birding walk on the property, a night hike, the ATM cave adventure, and to a local cooking class. The serving staff and bartender were all great, and the restaurant provided excellent meals. The managers were very present and accommodating, and you could tell the staff genuinely enjoyed working at the lodge. I cannot recognize this lodge enough and our group is already planning to come back.

Table rock staff was awesome! Super friendly, great hospitality! The food was great every meal we had did not disappoint! The staff was awesome with our young kids as well.

From the moment we arrived at Table Rock Jungle Lodge, we were met with kindness and the most welcoming vibes. Delicious Belizean breakfasts, knowledgeable folks there to help us have the best experience. We loved our guided night hike, our float down the Macal River and exploring the farm. Our room was gorgeous and the sounds of the jungle were soothing. Our teen sons were in awe of all the cool folks working at Table Rock who helped us plan the perfect family adventures.

The most amazing trip ever! The rooms and grounds were stunning, the people who worked there felt like family, the food was delicious. This was the best resort I have ever had the privilege of staying in and I can’t wait to return. A must stay when in San Ignacio!

My husband and I stayed at Table Rock for an anniversary trip, and it was amazing! The staff was friendly, great guides to pick us up and take us to the airport, they booked our excursions for us, and made sure to let us know what we needed to bring with us for each. Great on-site restaurant and bar with other fun and unusual amenities like feeding the farm animals! Our room was large, clean, and very comfortable. Great location to San Ignacio if you want to go into the town and check out the area.

I can’t speak highly enough about our time at Table Rock! From the lovely and attentive staff that treated us like family, to the amenities and the amazingly delicious, fresh food - we only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy even more of the jungle. Awesome location on the river, with so many activities for all ages. A must visit location!

Our favourite get away in the winter. Just the right size- wonderful staff - great birding and lots of other activities to enjoy. Eco lodge has an orange grove, donkeys, own chickens and supports the Cristo Rey community nearby. Their gardener Abraham supplies fresh organic vegetables for the meals!
