Residence Inn San Diego Rancho Bernardo/Scripps Poway

Clean, friendly staff, priced for average people. Breakfast is a BIG disappointment, food cold (sausage patty like it was sitting out for hours even though they just opened), but let's be honest, at most "free" breakfast bars you usually get what you pay for. If they'd put some trash cans in the stairwells people wouldn't have to trip over trashbags left in halls.

The place is nice clean and friendly stuff the only issue is we did not like the breakfast that was served

I stayed here before. So I figure staying here again. This time is not good at all. I even looked at different rooms to see if the other room is better but we just stayed where we were. The odor of the room was muggy (dirty laundry). The chair in the living area had torn holes. I think its from the table, and couch being drag on that particular sides. Comparing to the other rooms (3 rooms). All of the other rooms chairs has the same torn. 2 other rooms even have the couch torn where the chair and cough touches together. One room even have the refrigerator door uneven/ loose. This place has seen better days. Maintainers and maids needs to do a better job

i had stayed here before when the kids were younger and have a good memory of this hotel but it was very sad to see how it is running so poorly now. the front desk person was very unpleasant to us, when we greeted him with smile and all. he had hard time finding our reservation i don't know why. lol then he said we have 2 bedroom unit and both rooms have queen beds, when in actuality one room has a king bed and the other has queen bed. he said "well, i haven't seen any of the rooms"??? then called someone to ask. very unprofessional. usually when i check in, i'm offered a gift for being a titanium member, when he didn't mention anything about it, i just asked, may i have the gift? he said here have a water, then i asked may i have points instead, then he had to call to ask someone about it... it was just kinda weird that the front desk had no idea what he was doing. when we went to our room, we found a huge spyder in one of the bathtub and the tiles and the bathtub looked like it needs changing. i think it's not the housekeeping's fault. the rooms actually need some work done. there were mold looking things on the walls. we're home now and i have bug bites all over my back and legs... this is really unacceptable. i'm calling marriott to talk about the problems i had after writing this review.

It’s a very basic hotel, friendly staff, but nothing great. Rooms are spacious. The breakfast is included but typical ‘chain restaurants’ kind. I would want to skip it next time. The AC made very loud noises all night. There was no lotion in the bathroom/room. The toilet was dirty.

The power had knocked out the checkin process and elevators but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was excellent. The only complaint: the ac wasnt working

Great stay for family of 5. Very comfortable. Clean, good breakfast selection, and spacious. W highly recommend.

We love this location because it is part way between the San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park and we are members even though we live in Chicago. This time we brought another couple with us who have never been to the area. We we so excited to show them around the area. Imagine our delight when we were able to get a two bedroom unit. We loved the privacy of two separate bathrooms and the kitchen in the middle was the perfect layout. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and accommodating. We will definitely be back. Thankful for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this location.

Traveled to San Diego for a quick weekend getaway and stayed at this location. We really enjoyed our stay.
