Very comfortable hotel in great location with extremely helpful staff. Wide range of dinners availabe that were very tasty. Lounge area has nice wood fire. Only suggestion...it would be nice to have a coat hook on the inside of the bedroom door

Gorgeous hotel and surroundings. The room had everything we needed and was cosy and peaceful.
Staff really lovely, welcoming and friendly. Great base for walks. We have had dinner almost every day in the restaurant. Relaxed and warm atmosphere. The food was really tasty and fresh. Superb breakfast and service with the most beautiful views over the mountains.

Lovely room, great staff and customer service, lovely menu for both Lunch/Dinner, I shall be back at Christmas and also have booked for July. I would really recommend to Friends/Family.

Great greeting and and easy check-in. Food was great for dinners and breakfast, with very friendly staff.
Best part was the guests lounge with a warm log burner, perfect for an evening to sit and relax after hiking and dinner

It is a lovely old building with lots of beautiful features. It is on a main road but the road is quiet at night, so no problem. There are bus stops outside, so easy to get to Keswick or Bowness. Food is really goid and staff are friendly and helpful.
