"The owner and the staff are welcoming and polite. The rooms are clean and decent but the room divider are just woods you can hear over what the other guests on the next room are talking. The location is the top most because it is at the center. The saturday market is just infront of it, the information center is just few steps away as well as shops and resto. In overall, it was a good stay"

"Friendly welcome, early check-in was easily granted, which was helpful when using the night bus to Sagada. But mold on the ceiling, cobwebs behind the room door, dirty window frames with trails of ants running over them, means that the cleanliness is poor. The bathroom doors urgently need to be repaired so that they close better. There was free coffee and water for breakfast. Otherwise, you can pour hot water on ramen noodles. Or you can fry your own egg and eat yogurt. But this breakfast is not necessarily to everyone's taste. We had biscuits..."

Shamrock Tavern Inn ★

"The Shamrock is located a little out of the main part of town along the main road, but we had a driver so this was not an issue. We stopped only one night on a whirlwind visit and were pleased with the simple, clean and comfortable room on the first floor. There was a good substantial breakfast, although the coffee was not great. There was free Wi-Fi and computer access in the lobby. The staff were very friendly. The hi-light of our stay was perhaps the marriage proposal (not ours!) on the stairs of the hotel which entailed a series of messages on paper taped to the treads... touching! Curiously, it was the second public proposal of marriage we had witnessed while in Sagada. The other at the Echo Point. Both by Japanese couples, I think.... Consider it for yours!??"
