"The hotel is in a residential area and relatively quiet. The room was small but very clean. Parking is in a public parking lot, very close to the hotel. The only small drawback is that there is no air conditioning, so I don't have a permanent stay."

"The hotel is well located. The room is clean. There are many little things that are necessary on a trip. But there are also shortcomings, namely: for some unknown reason the room is very hot despite the cool weather (late May 2024). The bathroom is dimly lit. To register at the time of check-in, you must have Internet access, since the code for entering the room is not sent by SMS, but only a link to it (by the way, there is WI-FI at the station). And the main drawback of my trip - the elevator did not work for all 6 days of stay (supposedly due to the flood). However, to my surprise, on the third day of stay, a working elevator was found from the service entrance, but it was only possible to go down, since it was impossible for tourists to enter the building through this door from the outside, and climbing the steep stairs to the 6th floor, especially with luggage, was a pleasure ..."

"The thing that lets this hotel down is the instructions to drive to it which have not improved since the last review 10 years ago. Google does not work and the Hôtel instructions do not start early enough. We drove round and round and had to park and walk on foot. Then the lift to the underground carpark didn’t work. Basically after 5 minutes it had not arrived so had to lug cases up stairs whereupon the lift was still not working. Pictures misleading. No view of river. However clean, comfy bed, good shower and good breakfast"

"All the staff, including Housekeeping, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view from our room was onto the main street, and we could see the old castle, church and the Christmas Ferris Wheel. Breakfast was always delicious. The room itself was very comfortable, including the bed. One thing I have to mention is that there are two separate doonas (duvets) on the bed...which is great when one partner likes to hog the "blankets" at night-time. The hotel was close to everything. I was able to order a lactose free hot chocolate, (which certainly made my day!) downstairs. The drinks list, and the wine list are great, covering a variety of drinks for all. Will definitely come back and stay here next time"
