"Absolutely Terrible hotel… no iron… no kettle… no towels… half broken shower… broken furniture… toilet door don’t close properly… hair dryer on bathroom wall not working… no shower curtain water goes everywhere when having a shower.. ceilings fans low nearly lost a limb.. HORRIBLE BREAKFAST.. no fresh milk.. no toast… one lift which 4 people just about fit in, no safety door on inside of lift which means you can potentially lose your hand!!! NOT CHILDREN SAFE!!! This has got to be by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I do not recommend this to anyone, stay away do not waste your money."

"This time I came to Baghdad alone and found this hotel online in advance. To be honest, I didn’t have high hopes for this hotel at first. I came here with the thought of staying safe for just one night, but I got too many surprises. I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel entrance. The hotel staff enthusiastically picked me up. Here, I instantly took off my guard. One of the Chinese young men told the taxi driver in fluent Arabic the time to pick me up the next day. , a classical Iraqi beauty helped me check in at the front desk, and warmly put a protective cover on my passport. When I arrived, the room was definitely not as luxurious as a domestic hotel. It was spacious, clean, and complete with toiletries, which made me feel more comfortable. I went downstairs and met the boss at work, a warm and talkative man from the northwest. The food here is worthy of praise. You can drink all the drinks freely and there are many kinds. There are even domestic Wanglaoji, coffee table, etc. There are more than a dozen for dinner. A Chinese dish, including Mao Xue Wang and Pimple Soup. During this period, the chef also communicated with the guests about the taste of the dishes. It felt like being in a foreign country. The breakfast the next day was still rich, including Chinese food and Iraqi food. It was originally served here Even though I have lost weight, I still can’t keep my mouth shut😅. I wish our Chinese entrepreneurs will do better and better here!"

"For our stay in Baghdad, we spent 6 nights staying in the Safir hotel. It was very comfortable and clean, and the staff went above and beyond to help us, bringing water, fresh towels, and being generally friendly. I came back a few days later when I was feeling unwell and the staff took care of me again. I would recommend - the price is great and the location is good too."
