What a find . Lovely B&B the best I’ve ever been to . The room brilliant, bed , table and two chairs , ironing board , tv and hairdryer. Abundance of tea , coffee . And some biscuits. In a downstairs room. Good view of the garden. The bed was comfy . The en suite was spotless with toiletries of soap, shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast was cereal, juice, toast , English breakfast big pot of tea or coffee. Julie was so nice and welcoming. Yes it wasn’t easy to find but on the main road you will see Henlade post office and the drive is by the side. There is a flag in the garden. The cost was brill compared to local hotels and it’s 5 mins off of M5. High key recommend.

Had an enjoyable single night stay. Facilities were great. There is off road parking. Bedroom had en-suite and was clean and spacious. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Great value. Location is 25 minute walk from Taunton centre but 2 min drive from M5.

I stayed at the New Barn B&B for the first time in July and it was very good indeed. Good facilities – plenty in the tea and coffee making tray, comfortable bed, beautifully clean bathroom with all provisions. The bedroom and all ‘public’ rooms were well presented and very clean. Julie ( the host) is very friendly and most helpful and accommodating. To top it all there is the realy splendid ‘full English’ breakfast freshly cooked for you – unlike the big hotels. It can be difficult to find but use Google Maps and, especially Street View, and you will find the lane leading to this B&B. It is a useful location for touring this area but also as a good overnight stopover en route to Devom and Cornwall. All in all, highly recommended.

We had a spacious, clean room with a comfortable bed and an equally clean and spacious en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent: a full English with tasty, good quality sausages, bacon and egg. Great value. We would happily use New Barn again.
