El propietario vivía cerca y lo llamó con anticipación. Dijo que se comunicaría con él después de llegar. La habitación es la misma que en la imagen. En el tercer piso, está relativamente ordenado, pero solo hay una máquina de café, se proporcionan dos tazas de café gratis, no hay hervidor ni secador de pelo. El propietario cobra un depósito de 50 euros al hacer el registro de entrada, que se reembolsará al hacer el registro de salida. La residencia está a unos 15 minutos a pie del casco antiguo y está relativamente cerca de la estación de autobuses.

We stayed in the 1-bedroom apartment with terrace and sea view at the Residence Porta Antica in Rovinj for 2-nights in mid-Apr (€160/night). The residence was perfectly located on the pedestrian walkway on the Rovinj harbour, amid all of the stores and restaurants and backing onto old town for a short hike up to the church. Be sure to arrange with the hotel a pick-up at the parking lot just outside of old town - you can't drive into the historic area, so it is a bit of a haul dragging your luggage over the cobblestones – and they are happy to send someone out in their golf cart. Our 2nd floor suite was perfect, fronted by a wide balcony (the only one in the building) with a table and 2 chairs to enjoy the view over the restaurant below onto the harbour. You enter into a large sitting area and kitchen fronted by two windows and a double glassed door (the room is light and airy) with heritage accents throughout in the high ceilings with dark wood beams, accent walls of huge stone, and antique pieces among the couch (hide-a-bed), table and chairs. The kitchen had a mini-refrigerator, hot plate, pots, cutlery, dishes etc., as well as a pod-coffee maker. The bathroom was small and a bit cramped, as you would expect in a heritage building retrofit with modern conveniences, but comfortably functional. The bedroom was also a bit small, but the queen bed and pillows lulled us into perfect sleep in the quiet nights. The two closets provided plenty of storage space. Breakfast at the Hotel Adriatic (almost next door) was fabulous, the best a la carte selection we have had on this trip. And to top it off, the residence's staff were great, cheerful, friendly, and very helpful with travel planning, restaurants, everything. Overall, stay in this room (none of the others are as nice) – it is a bit more expensive, but the balcony makes all the difference. You will not be disappointed.

The location is very good. The seaview is very beautiful. Mr. Andreaw is very helpful and nice, he introduced a very good restaurant for our dinner and the food iwas great. He drove the golf car to take us to the carpark and help us bring our luggage. All the staff in this hotel were helpful and friendly. The staff in the restaurant, were very polite and professional and the chef cook excellent breadkfast to us. Only one thing is if follow the google will direct you to the wrong way cannot find the hotel. Better contact the hotel lead you to find them before you arrive. As the car is not park in the hotel . Rovinj is a very beautiful place! I will stay in this hotel again.

Es difícil llevar una maleta, pero la ubicación es buena. Es una nueva experiencia. Aparte de la tarifa de alojamiento, puedes pagar el impuesto turístico 1.86 euros. También puedes utilizar una tarjeta. El personal es amigable y la guía es buena. Gracias. Porque es una conexión de la empresa, no podemos contactar al menos bien. Pero gracias a ello, podemos comprobar la entrada tarde a la noche. Estacionamiento de coches es muy bueno. Si el check-in es más de las 8:00, es mejor contactar con antelación. Muchas gracias al personal masculino de la oficina por cuidar de nuestra conveniencia.

Muy buen hotel, solo unas pocas habitaciones, muy diseño, muy bonito. Salir por un minuto e ir a la hermosa bahía, este es un gran lugar para ver la puesta de sol. Las habitaciones están totalmente equipadas, pero es necesario proporcionar el hervidor eléctrico y el cepillo de dientes con pasta de dientes. La variedad de desayuno del hotel no es tan deliciosa, pero el sabor es muy bueno. El servicio del hotel estaba en su lugar, la habitación se limpió a tiempo, el dueño del hotel nos recibió con un cálido apretón de manos y nos preguntó sobre la sensación de quedarse. Cuando llegamos y salimos del hotel, el camarero nos envió a la estación de autobuses con un carro batería. Cada enlace de servicio se puede profesionalizar. Además, los viajes gratuitos requieren habilidades básicas de comunicación oral en inglés, lo cual es muy importante.

We have been going to hotel Molindrio for 10 years with my parents and sister and are club members. Every year has been a great experience but that all changed this year. From the beginning the reception has told us every year that we are free to use the beach at hotel Parentium and we are also able to use the white chairs to lie down. We have been doing this ever since. This year we were approached by life guards at the beach asking us why we were using the white chairs if we are not guests of hotel Parentium, because this was not allowed. We explained that we have been doing this for years and had been told by the reception that this was not a problem because we were guests at the sister hotel Molindrio. When we made the reception aware of this altercation with the life guards they first claimed that these chairs were never offerd to us by the reception and that we were lucky that we had not been caught earlier for using these chairs ( which made us feel absolutely horrible, we just did what the reception has told us for years that we could do ), after we explained that we are not lying and have been guest for 10 years and have always been using these chairs they switched up the story and told us that there is a new management and there are new rules so we cannot use these chairs at the beach anymore ( so now we are not liars but the new director has given these orders, reception could have just told us this from the start instead of making us look like liars ). So we had to lie down on the concrete. My dad has a bad back and instead if a relaxing vacation his back got even worse from lying on the hard concrete with just a towel. Absolutely disgraceful! Furthermore the food this year was of very poor quality. The fruit they served was either rotten or without taste, which left us really feeling disappointed especially because we have been coming here for years and have always been so satisfied with the food. Needless to say we will not be coming back anymore after being treated this way. We are very disappointed.

Es un lugar maravilloso con vistas al mar. Las habitaciones y el baño están limpios con un asiento, y las camas están bien. Era muy limpio y tranquilo. No hay ruido, música dura, o público alto. Si te gusta un DJ, puedes ir a uno de los otros hoteles, que están en el mismo terreno. Tenemos desayuno y cena. Eso fue una gran opción y muy agradable. Nos iremos a este hotel.

My husband and I booked the hotel as a last minute cheap deal and on first impressions we were impressed. The hotel is in a nice setting with well tended gardens and a short walk to the seafront promenade, great if you want to lie around the pool all week but we found it too cut off. There are no local buses in the area at all and the small tourist train was 1km away and had very restricted times being early season. A taxi into porec was £20 each way. Hotel food was typical for a large tourist hotel and we always found something to eat. The bedrooms however are extremely small and very basic no storage cupboards or drawers for anything at all.the bathrooms are so small the shower door wouldn't open fully as banged into the toilet and the bathroom door couldn't open fully due to the towel rail behind it. You get bigger bathrooms on cruise ships ! The main down side was the constant stream of tourist coaches which used the hotel on a daily basis ( 8 full coaches on one particular day )which left the hotel more like a travel lodge motel and not like a relaxing away from it all holiday break. In all an OK hotel for the money we paid but not somewhere we would return to unless in a coach party.
