First thing we look for is clean and on the surface it was, dig a little deeper and the lack of care became obvious, improvement needed. Room was a good size with both a sink and a handbasin, unusual for Australian motels. Bed was OK, pillows were at the end of their useful life however. Kitchen facilities were good with enough to get by on. Close to town although it is place where everything was within walking distance.

Great location, host was friendly enough. On first sight, the room as spacious enough for a family plus we were travelling with two dogs, it appeared very nice. But once the windows and doors were shut, the room smelt of dog wee and it was very strong. It really needed a good clean , thick dust and hair behind the beds and side table. The small courtyard was great with dogs, but it wasn’t grass so our dogs were reluctant to toilet there, we found ourselves taking them for a lot of walks elsewhere. Towels and face washers could do with an update they were hard and bleached stained . The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. We wouldn’t stay here again. It certainly didn’t live up to the photos and reviews.
