Kassandra Hotel

I arrived at the hotel quite late and I was checked in very quickly. I couldn’t find my room easily but the receptionist took me to the room. Room was very large with a food prep area, cooking facilities and kettle. I didn’t use anything as only staying a short night for early flight. There was a descent sized bathroom. All facilities worked well. The bed was comfortable and large. At the front there was a small grass area with garden furniture to sit. There was a large pool. The bus stop to airport is just outside the hotel. Very easy to get to from central town area and en route to the airport. I would stay here again as it looked really nice. There were lots of families with young children and it looked very busy. There is a short walk to the shops and restaurants so not far to socialising. The beach wasn’t far. The hotel is set just off the main road. There are houses surrendering it. The picture is from a walk around the old town and not of the hotel

Very convenient located, 50m from a bus stop where is about half way between airport and Rhodes city. Polite and efficient reception. Room is spacious and reasonably clean with hot water for shower. Kitchen is well equipped. However there is no dish washup liquid provided so I could not clean my pots and dishes after cooking.

I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. My necklace went missing. I am certain that I left it in my hotel room at the table. This was not an ordinary piece of jewelry—it belonged to my late mother, who was wearing it when she passed away. It is the only piece of jewelry I inherited from her, and I had always planned to give it to my daughter one day. I had worn this necklace around my neck every day for four years and I always took great care of it. The only reason I took it off was because the skin on my neck had become sunburned and irritated. I contacted the hotel and asked for help. Instead of receiving understanding, empathy, or even a simple apology that my necklace had gone missing, I felt blamed and made to feel as though this was my fault. That was incredibly upsetting during an already heartbreaking situation. I am not accusing any individual without evidence, but I expected the hotel to take my concerns seriously, conduct a thorough search, and show compassion for the loss of something so precious. The lack of empathy and the way I was treated were deeply disappointing. I hope no other guest has to go through an experience like this. Only positive thing was the bar staff. They were absolutely wonderful—friendly and kind throughout our stay. Unfortunately, my experience with the reception staff and the housekeeping staff was very different. I found them rude and unhelpful, especially when I reported that my necklace had gone missing. It's honestly unbelievable how little empathy the staff had. They didn't take my concerns seriously at all. I know for a fact I didn't lose the jewelry, I just left it on the table for a moment. I was a paying customer on vacation with my family. My flight back to Finland was spent in tears. I sincerely hope that no other guest ever has to experience losing their belongings. I still hope that one day my mother's necklace will be found and returned to me. It would mean more to me than words can describe.

The hotel is wonderful, daily cleaned in evidence as they have many staff in operation, my room was self catering and it was very nice, power showers are amazing, balcony views where great as i love the plants and the palm tree types. The reception staff and all the bar staff where great, one barman even took me to my room as i was a little tipsy, so that was a great service. The greek people are great and it was a very pleasant experience, i made many holiday friends and i intend to go back next year. Well done to all Kassandra and family staff, fantastic time. They have 2 main swimming pools, 2 small children pools, a play area for the kids, 2 bars, live music and karaoke on 3 days a week, 2 main areas to eat food, may sunbeds by the pool and away from the pool, supermarket 2 minute walk, bus stop outside which is great as it goes to Rhodes in 20 minutes where you can have a boat tour from many kiosks, old town is mind blowing. For the price this place is great, well done to all of the Kssandra family for giving me a wonderful most enjoyable time. I love you all xxx Jason

We were a little concerned by the bad reviews for these apartments but we had a reasonably good experience. Maybe we just got lucky but our apartment was a good size with comfortable beds. The shower wasn't amazing but it was clean with a new shower curtain. The kitchen was basic, no microwave or toaster but I believe you can hire a toaster if needed. The cleaners came by everyday and were always cheerful. We paid for air conditioning as it was very hot when we visited, it's €9 per night. Loads of mozzies so make sure you take some repellent if you are prone to getting bitten. Yes, the complex is a bit dated but if you want five star you need to pay five star prices. Excellent supermarket across the road with friendly staff but a very busy main road to cross. Bus into Rhodes town was €2.50, bus tickets from reception, worth a visit, very beautiful. Suggestion - make one of the pool areas adults only, the amount of noisy ten year old boys shouting and splashing made it hard to relax.

The hotel is very basic but it was very good value and you get what you pay for. The room was clean and large with a large balcony. Hotel restaurant is good but overpriced compared to some stuff in the town. Staff were lovely.

Lovely hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned everyday. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. There is a restaurant joined, which was in the process of opening for the first time when we went.

Nice friendly hotel been many times will keep going as long as possible, can't wait to get back in June it helps this old man get through the winter, only one kassadra Apartments, I wil be back,staff very nice people if you need to relaxing holiday rooms clean and tidy cleaning comes everyday,

We were a family of 5 in two rooms and were delayed in UK so meant we arrived at the hotel at 1am. Although the bar appeared open we were refused drinks and with no food in sight the kind reception man told us to download efood (its an app like uber eats). You will be glad you did as this meant a quick delivery of gyros and drinks which were thankful for after the drama with the plane. Our room 436 was smelly and had stale, mould within the room. It appeared that the mould was coming from a broken tile and bathroom fitting in the shower (pics attached). The light was also hanging off and the hair dryer was all broken. The beds are quite hard too so it is difficult to sleep. There was a kettle and two stoves with some basics to knock up a few easy meals and a fridge to store everything. A microwave would have made things easier. On the day before we were due to leave the water was turned off for a few hours which left us without water for a shower or kettle. We also found out that they would also be having no electricity the following day between 0700-1400hrs as it was being switched off for maintenance. Not ideal on our last day. The rear pool is cloudy and the area around there stinks of sewerage. There are also lots of flies that DO BITE so be warned as we didn't see a knat or mosquito in sight. The best pool is definitely near the reception and very clear and refreshing when in the hot sun. The restaurant was ok nothing special but eatable. Overall the service and housekeeping was very good but its clear this hotel is outdated and just about scrapping along. Would we return....no.
