Lindos Princess Beach Hotel

We stayed for the UK October half term. We booked a private transfer to collect us from the airport as we didn't fancy a 2 hour transfer. We arrived within an hour. Check-in was super easy, and we were sent straight to the late buffet as we arrived at 23:30. Went to our room and was surprised at the size and also that the mini bar was stocked and would be stocked every 2 days free. Went to bed thinking how comfy the bed was. At 05:30, we was woken by noises that I first thought were planes bomding us. The noise didn't stop. After breakfast we went to reception and we moved rooms. We were changed from the main hotel to bungalow block 10. This room was even bigger and a great garden view. Water sports on the beach were great. We did jet skies, crazy sofa and pedalo. The pool was cold, but I expected that with it being October. However, the sea was so warm. The snack bars were great and the outdoor restaurant was great if the main one was busy. We only went for 5 nights just to have a chill out. And that we did. I would say this was one of the nicest hotels we've been to in a while.

From the moment our coach arrived at the Lindos Princess Beach Hotel and spa, we were extremely impressed. The entrance atrium has a magnificent dome in front of reception, ordained with beautiful scenes of Greek gods/goddesses. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The fountains are stunning and provide a beautiful atmosphere at night when they are lit up. The pools are spotless (chlorine water). The whole location is kept spotless. We stayed in a Superior family room beach front, which had a sliding partician between room sections. It was spotless and provided everything we required. Ideal location. The food is tasty, with plenty of options available to cater to most requirements. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. (Except for a few, who I will mention later). The majority of employees are only too happy to make you welcome and help any way they can. The entertainment team is brilliant and provides a mixture of activities for all the family. A few minor things: There were a few staff at the Aegean pool bar who were rude, and one even tutted and rolled his eyes when we asked for drinks. These were the only staff we had trouble with, and it put us off going back to this bar. There are not enough outlets in the rooms, but we had adaptors, so we worked it out. Overall, though, we had a lovely stay, and we would gladly return. Thank you.

We have just got back from a week here with our 9yr old daughter and 6yr old son. The transfer time was just over an hour and check in was a breeze. We had a buggy ride to our room with our luggage. Our room 1205 was spacious and everything we needed. We were close to the pools , park and beach which was a bonus. The food was lovely something there for everyone we didn’t have a bad meal. The mr whippy Ice creams were a massive hit and probably the reason I’ve gained half a stone haha. The main restaurant does get very busy so I wouldn’t choose to come here in the holidays as I think that could be an issue. The entertainment team I need to mention as they were absolutely amazing. They work so hard day in day out and really made our holiday and going to the amphitheatre each night was a highlight for the children. Behind the theatre there is a little fair with a bouncy castle , little rides etc and the owners were so lovely. The beach is quite rocky and not sandy so take appropriate shoes for the children. They have water sports and we did the jet ski which was 40euros for 15 mins. We had a taxi ride to lindos square one night which was 18euros and this was well worth a visit. We ate at stefannys rooftop restaurant and the view was amazing we watched the sun going down. We will def be back at this hotel and would really recommend it to anyone :)

The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and work exceptional hard. We had a great holiday. I would agree with guests other comments about the main restaurant being very busy, too busy in my opinion. We preferred to eat at the beach restaurant. The choice of food was good and overall enjoyed a good selection of the food on offer. I would also agree with the comments about the rooms needing updating. We had a two bedroom family suite and the bed, mattresses and pillows all need replacing. We had two single beds pushed together as double. The cleaners came in every day and cleaned. The rooms and bathroom for us didn’t meet a 4* star standard. The Animation team, including those in the kids club were amazing. They all worked very hard to keep the children and adults entertained. Thank you all for being so kind!

The good: The hotel is quite nice. Great breakfast. The pool areas are great and well suited for children of different age. The waterslides are quite fun. With all inclusive there's almost no time of the day when you couldn't get at least something to eat, so you won't go hungry even if you skip breakfast or lunch. The air conditioning in the room was excellent! The spa offers treatments for kids, which I haven't seen in many spas. My son and I had much fun with his ”kid's massage with chocolate”. The animation team in this hotel work really hard to keep you and your kids entertained. The minimart inside the hotel isn't mini at all, you can find almost anything you could need in a beach vacation from there. There are also two tourist style supermarkets less than 100 m from the hotel front door. If you need a car try Rodos Cars at the front lobby. They have superb service, great selection of vehicles and reasonable prices. The bad: Most of the criticism you can find in the other reviews is true. Cleaners think 8 am is the perfect time to clean your room and try their best to barge in even if you have placed the ”do not disturb” -sign on the door. All sunbeds are reserved sharply at 8 am as well and if you don't place your towels then, good luck trying to find a free sunbed. The selection of food at dinner is quite good but lunch is in essence the same as dinner, only with fever options. After a week of all inclusive dining you'l find yourself pilfering articles from the kids menu just to taste at least something different. When we first arrived to our room the bathroom smelled disgusting, like a moist and moldy old cellar. We kept the bathroom door open and the air conditioning operating and the smell disappeared in few hours. The weird green growth at the toilet pipes didn't look too healthy either. The plain stupid: I had bought new snorkling masks and snorkels for me and my son in addition to his old snorkling mask with a plan to teach him how to snorkle during our vacation. The hotel bousts of having six different pools and the pools are nice indeed. Imagine our surprise when we figured out that wearing snorkling masks if strictly forbidden in each and every pool. It doesn't matter whether the eyepieces are made of plastic or glass, it doesn't matter if you use the snorkel or not, it doesn't matter whether your child can swim or not, nor does it matter if you are an arm's length away or not. You cannot go into the pool if you wear a mask that covers your nose. Only swimming goggles are allowed. The lifeguards on the pools enforce this rule vigorously. Image your child wondering why a strange adult male is scolding him in a language he doesn't understand and you get the picture. I completely understand that the hotel has the full right to decide what kind of policies they have and of course we obey the rules set by the hotel staff. What isn't okay at all is that the hotel doesn't give any notice about banning all nosecovering masks on the
