Nos reciben y dejamos las maletas en la habitación. Bajamos a tomar algo, y en el restaurante apenas nos entienden. Pedimos unos platos de apoyo y tras asentir, la camarera no los trae. Al regresar a la habitación, encontramos un excremento de pájaro o lagarto sobre la cama (no hay foto porque no me dieron tiempo a tomarla). Avisamos a recepción y nos ofrecen cambiarnos las sábanas, pues no hay más habitaciones disponibles. No salgo de mi asombro cuando veo que van a cambiar únicamente el cubre, y argumentan que estamos en Sri Lanka, que es normal que haya animales. Tras ello, entro al baño y las juntas del WC no están en condiciones, la cortina de la ducha está muy sucia. La cortina de la habitación principal tiene unas manchas enormes y para terminar, encontramos una galleta bajo la cama. La respuesta de la dirección del hotel no ha sido buena, el manager ni siquiera nos escucha y habla al resto de personal que se encuentra en la habitación en su idioma, siendo irrespetuoso. En este momento nos ofrecen cambiar de habitación, parece que ya tienen disponibles. Tras ver la habitación y observar que está en condiciones similares, decidimos comunicarles que vamos a contactar con la organización de nuestro viaje para que ellos nos ofrezcan una solución. De repente, la suite está disponible y nos ofrecen quedarnos en ella. Les decimos que no es un tema de mejorar el rango de la habitación, sino de higiene general del establecimiento. Insisten, siendo de nuevo poco agradables, para que aceptemos quedarnos en la suite y nos ofrecen disculpas por si algo no está en condiciones. La experiencia no fue mada buena, además de por la precariedad de las instalaciones, por el nefasto trato recibido por parte del personal.
