The resort is amazing. No doubt it is one of the best resort in RAK. We spent the new years and our anniversary in The Cove Rotana and we had a great time.We were taken care off really well with all special treatments. The food in cinnamon is amazing and the staff in the resort are so friendly.
As we checked in our room, we saw the room given to us did not have a balcony nor a bathtub. We requested for an upgrade as we had paid a huge amount for the NYE. A staff named Tara helped us to get the upgrade really quick.
The housekeeping guy was the sweetest. He decorated our bed well and also put a board with the anniversary wishes!!
Also there was a staff in Breakers Beach Bar named Min. He is an amazing guy. I had ordered for a mojito and informed him it needs to look good as it was for social media. He made sure he gave me the best one and also suggested I should opt for strawberry mojito. He then said it was not possible for him to give the mojito in the glass as we were not having at the bar instead we were at the beach resting on the sun beds. When he saw I was a little upset he let us have the glass taken to the beach. Such an amazing guy!!!
Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend this resort to all who would love to have a great time with family and friends.

Me lo arreglé. Se quedó un total de 10 noches, y luego mi tarjeta de crédito Visa me garantizó. El hotel es bueno pero! !! !! ¡Todos deben prestar atención! No garantice con una tarjeta de crédito Visa. Nunca llené mi tarjeta de crédito con información, solo esta vez. Luego, un mes después, ¡fue robado hace unos días! Aunque son decenas de dólares, el personal de este hotel es demasiado poco confiable. Lo siento por esta marca. A Waldorf no le sucedió tal cosa, ya que yo vivía en otro lugar. Mi tío también dijo que el hotel tenía camareros indios y la actitud no era buena. Espero que todos tengan corazón, ¡no use visa en el extranjero! !!

Fue el 7o aniversario de nuestro hijo y fue hecho para sentirse especial por todos los empleados del restaurante que cantaron una hermosa rendidura de Feliz cumpleaños y le presentó con un delicioso pastel. Este es nuestro tercer corto estancia en los últimos cuatro años y cada vez que se mejora. What an amazing experience! In this review I’m only talking about things we did. There is plenty more we couldn’t do as we only stayed 2 nights. First let’s cover the resort: The resort itself is very luxurious and massive. The villas are huge (we stayed in the Al Rimal Villa)! Having your own pool (very private, no one can see you) is so nice, especially if you have kids who are in there constantly. We were two adults with 2 kids, 12 and 2. There are several restaurants but only 1 is open for breakfast and lunch (can be increased in my opinion, especially the farmhouse should be added). Unfortunately several things are only happening on weekends so try to include the weekend to be able to experience all the offerings. To get around the resort, you can either use the bicycles or the buggy. As we stayed in June, we used the buggy mainly as it’s super hot throughout the day. However, we did cycle in the evenings and during the day a couple of times. There are wild animals all over the resort. They just come and go as they please. Everything feels very authentic and true to its surroundings. Nothing is staged. If you like to see Camels and Onyx close up on your way to lunch or in the evening when cycling back to your room, you will love this place! Let’s look at the Restaurants. Farmhouse - this is a great restaurant right at a waterhole which is beautiful in the evening and a place where a lot of animals gather. The food, drinks and staff were great. This was our favourite restaurant. However, only open for dinner. Shame! Kheela - this is the only restaurant for breakfast and lunch. It’s nice with an Arabic vibe. The food is good (not amazing). The one thing that makes this place very special is the staff. They are sooo friendly and helpful. They loved playing with our little toddler Max. They truly made the experience special for us. I’d like to call some of them out by Name: Wandy, Hemal, Sujala and Susmila. I only put those down as they written their name on my partner’s birthday card but all of them were amazing. In terms of activities: We did the nature drive and camel sunset ride. Both are amazing! During the nature drive you get a real feel for the desert, it’s animals and plants. If you are lucky, you get to hand feed the gazelles. The ride itself is very intense with lots of up and down and many many bumps, so not suitable for small children in our opinion. The Guide, Martin, was great! I can highly recommend him. We also did the rainforest experience which is very lovely. We recommend at least 2 hours. Overall, this place is absolutely amazing and we enjoyed every bit of it! It’s also super kid friendly so highly recommended for families. The staff make this place truly special and add to the the overall experience. We can’t thank all of the staff enough for taking such good care of us.

UUsuario anónimoThe hotel is packed with tourist… the front desk initially give me a double bed even my booking says king bed with sofa. When we are already relaxing in our room after a long drive, someone from maintenance came and fix the design at the top of the headboard. They should be doing this before the guest checked in. Such an inconvenience! When I reported this to the front desk, they said they will check but never came back to me. The next day, I was asking for the help of the lifeguard to open the umbrella but he refused and told me to ask the help of other staff even though the umbrella is just behind him! We stayed to a lot of hotels and this is the first time I’m experiencing this poor service! The only good thing in this hotel is the breakfast and the houskeeping. They are well trained and nicer compared to other departments.

Very friendly and helpful staff that will do everything to make your stay enjoyable, whether it is to offer to help carry stuff to your room if they see you are struggling, print documents for you at the reception, receive packages on your behalf if you are not ”home” and in general solve any issues you may have in zero time. The hotel is specially recommendable for families (they have 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments with kitchen), but also good for long-stay guests like ourself that look for a peaceful place located close to the beach and not far from RAK city & malls. The pool is nicer in reality than in the pictures, and if you want to ”upgrade ”your stay to a 5* experience, then the hotel offers day tickets (for a very modest price!!) to the 5* Hilton resort on the other side of the street, which is one of the best hotels in the area, with a really wonderful pool and beach area. There is also a public beach a little farther down the road (300-400m) and some food trucks and the fish market and harbour is about 500m walking distance to the other direction. Also a thumbs-up to the Liwan restaurant & Czech pub which is in the same building. The Czech Pub and Liwan restaurant share the same kitchen & chefs (the Chef is from the Czech Republic so I specially recommend to try some of the Czech specialties).

A very enjoyable experience with Aman Ullah a lot of fun he is very friendly the way he approach the absolutely unbelievable.When see any gust he welcome everyone and thoroughly interesting activities to entertain the kids whilst the poolside was a relaxing atmosphere for me and my wife. The beach ⛱️ is amazing view very long beach.The swimming pool is very deep and large.I would like to recommend this hotel 5 Star service.Thak you Aman Ullah your hospitality and safety give us our children.👍👍👍👍

UUsuario invitadoWe went here with friends who has holidayed here when it had just opened. We had a 10. night holiday booked with BA we arrived the early hours of Sunday 9th of October. We unpacked went to bed after looking around room in daylight next morning I wasnt impressed, we had 1 b/towel so hubby went down and asked for another also we asked for extra coathangers as there were only 4 (for 2 people) ?? The towel s did appear but no coathangers on trying the shower the head from the shower only produced a trickle so we asked if someone could check it for us . The light in the bathroom was flickering when we looked in it this is what we saw (see 1st photo ) there were two lights one either side of the sink both full.of dead flies they fixed the flickering light but the the other light though working was still full of dead flies ???????? Long story short they never fixed the shower we gave up asking for it to be fixed and used the small head on the shower. The 2nd photo is the photo is the mess that greeted us on our bathroom floor when we returned to our room after our 3rd request for the shower to be fixed (at least we assumed)they were trying to fix the shower head ) why else would you leave s bathroom in that state 😡😡😡😡😡😡 It was 5.30 and we had dinner booked for 6.30 i went ballistic hubby thought i was blaming him he threw one of the white bath towels over it and to cease arguung about this awful room iI.didn't complain about the room after that I decided it was easier to just put up with it and keep.the peace I should have at the start of the holiday demanded to move rooms and it would have been a much nicer holiday. We had paid for two upgrades and this room was certainly not worth the price we paid. The hotel does have good points the staff are amazing resturant and bar staff are some of the best we have ever had rhe privilage of meeting. Shout out for Peter and the Pizza chef in the Italian we enjoyed your singing and they are fabulous people . Also shout out for Nushta in the lobby bar but there were too any lovely staff to.mention by name the staff are certainly a great asset to the hotel. We really used only the a la carte restaurants in the evening for dinner and they r amazing always managed to book.a table and we loved the Italian at lunchtime too. I dont do brekkie but hubby and our friends did . The main areas of the hotel are lovely and reasonably kept seats are stained quite badly in some places and do need upgrading . The weather was fab food was good staff amazing but the photos of our room speak for themselves. I should gave made a stand at the start of the holiday regarding the room but then again no 5 star hotel should have a room in this condition.

Este hotel es un lugar muy agradable para descansar y disfrutar de unas buenas vacaciones. El personal del hotel es sumamente agradable y atento, de verdad que el staff de este hotel se merece un 10/10. Las chicas de Arcadia Los bartender del pool bar y beach bar El equipo de limpieza en las habitaciones. Todos son excelentes y son ustedes quienes hacen una gran diferencia en ese hotel. Las habitaciones están muy limpias y bien cómodas en mi criterio. La parte gastronómica es la que no me gusto del todo. El buffet del hotel si bien tiene platos muy buenos tiene otros tantos que no son para nada buenos. El desayuno por ejemplo es lo mejor del día pero al menos la semana que estuve ofertaron lo mismo sin variación alguna. No hubo un solo cambio en el menú del buffet. El almuerzo y la comida si cambian por día pero habían muchos platos indios que la verdad no tienen nada que ver ni con la cultura local ni con el tipo de turismo que estaba ahí en ese entonces. En mi opinión creo que sería mejor si buscan platos más internacionales y menos condimentados. También sería ideal tener un chef preparando quizás una carne a la parrilla pues tienen un chef en el desayuno que prepara tus omelets en frente de ti a tu gusto. Porque no hacer lo mismo en el almuerzo y la cena ???? El area de piscina espectacular. Al igual que el area de playa. El gimnasio lo use cada día de mi estancia. Aquí si voy a dar 3/10. Muchas de las máquinas no funcionan correctamente o están fuera de uso. En general creo que para el precio que pagué el hotel estuvo muy bien. Pero es cierto que este tema del buffet y su poca variedad debe ser considerado algo a cambiar por la gerencia.
