Valoraciones de Ikala Quito Hotel

Me alojé en este hotel por un total de 7 noches. Las instalaciones, el ambiente y la higiene del hotel son buenos. La mayoría del personal es educado y tomará la iniciativa de saludar. Algunas personas no son muy educadas. El desayuno es bastante rico. . La razón por la que elegí este hotel es que está ubicado en una zona con buena seguridad. Pero algo terrible sucedió a las 2 de la tarde del 1 de febrero. Llamé a un Uber y estaba a punto de salir. Cuando estaba esperando el servicio de transporte online frente al hotel, una motocicleta deambuló frente a hotel. Había dos personas en la motocicleta. Cuando pasó a mi lado, me arrebató mi teléfono móvil Samsung S23ultar. Después de eso, un estudiante ayudó a llamar a la policía. Un coche de policía cercano llegó rápidamente. Después de enterarme de la verdad, perseguí al el ladrón en la dirección donde huyó, y luego otros dos llegaron al hotel, el policía revisó el video de vigilancia del incidente y se fue. Desde que me registré en el hotel hasta que me robaron el teléfono, el hotel nunca me recordó que debía estar atento a mi teléfono en la entrada del hotel, especialmente a las personas que iban en motocicleta. Si me hubieran informado con antelación, este incidente podría haberse evitado. . Creo que el hotel es responsable del teléfono móvil que los mafiosos arrebataron a las 2 de la madrugada en la puerta del hotel, sin embargo, la actitud del hotel fue muy fría, solo enfatizaron que lo que pasó afuera del hotel había nada que ver con el hotel y solo pude responsabilizar a la policía, incluso llamé a la policía para enfatizarme que el hotel no era responsable de este asunto. Después de este incidente, no solo perdí un teléfono móvil, sino que todo mi estado de ánimo empeoró, ¡me sentí impotente ante la actitud indiferente del hotel! Hasta que salí de este hotel, su responsable no me indemnizó de ninguna manera, e incluso me instó a renovar mi estadía y pagar mientras esperaba que la policía se ocupara del caso, y luego se fue del hotel sin pagar. También traté de contactar a Ctrip para negociar con el hotel, pero eso no cambió la actitud del hotel. Más tarde, Ctrip (quejándose del ama de llaves Xiao Zhu) obtuvo una compensación para mí y me reembolsó la tarifa de hotel de un día, que era más. más de 500 RMB. Creo que Xiao Zhu ya hizo lo mejor que pude y me gustaría agradecerles. Lo anterior es mi experiencia personal al hospedarme en este hotel para su referencia.

Este es un hotel normal. Los colchones y las almohadas han mejorado la calidad de mi sueño. El restaurante es exquisito, el factor de seguridad es alto, el desayuno es rico y el personal de servicio es muy educado. Recomiendo este hotel 👍

Bonita habitación y muy confortable, el personal del hotel muy atento. Recomendable, bien ubicado y sobre todo la atención por parte del personal del hotel

Ubicación barrio con algunos comercios y hostelería de diferentes niveles. Del casco antiguo está algo retirado, se puede ir andando (+30mtos) pero mejor coger un trasporte taxi/Uber. Instalaciones nuevas, bien decorado y limpio. Personal muy profesional y amable. Habitaciones amplias, camas muy grandes y cómodas. Desayuno buffet muy bueno. Tiene cocina también para cenar, pero cierra pronto y mejor avisar.

Hermoso hotel. Las habitaciones y el baño muy cómodos. El desayuno es muy completo y tiene servicio de restaurante. La decoración muy linda. La atención es muy servicial. Buena ubicación en cercanías de Plaza Foch. Muy recomendable para una estadía en Quito

El hotel está ubicado en buena zona. Tiene alrededor varios restaurantes buenos. Las instalaciobes buenas. Habitación y baño amplios. Desayuno buffet, bastante bueno, fallaba el tipo de pan y la tostadora que tardaba demasiado. Recepción muy serviciales.

Staff were friendly and helpful and hotel was clean. I think you play the lottery when it comes to rooms. All very different. We were placed in a large old double on ground floor with a very narrow shower room which had glass blocks facing the restaurant area with no coverings. When we complained they did move us, which we couldn’t fault. No air conditioning, and the rooms can get stuffy. Please note, if you are there on a Sunday, the restaurant and bar are closed and there is no coffee/ tea facilities in the rooms or hotel. Breakfast - poor buffet selection Location - quite a distance from the historic district, 20 min taxi ride or 45 mins walk

The Ikala is tucked away down a small street in the Mariscal district of Quito. We stayed a total of 4 times (5 nights) over the course of a 18 day trip to Ecuador. The staff were very helpful , especially regarding the times we left certain pieces of luggage at the hotel whilst off on our travels..it all went smoothly. The 4 different rooms we had were all clean and spacious. The Breakfast is OK, not the best, and the Restaurant (open Mon-Sat from about 17.30 -20.00) lacks atmosphere, the food though is perfectly acceptable. All in all a good base

Lovely staff and accommodations. The restaurant in the hotel had a nice selection of food and drink. We loved the balcony and room. We did not explore the neighborhood due to our short time at the hotel but saw lots of neighbors walking around.

I stayed here for 1 night as part of an organised tour. The hotel is located in the new part of Quito, not massively convenient for the historic centre without taking a taxi or public transport. There appeared to be a security guard on the entrance at all times, but I never felt unsafe in the area. All staff members I interacted with were friendly and the reception staff spoke good English. My room was up 2 flights of stairs, without a lift this waws inconvenient with a heavy suitcase. The bedroom was very small, the bed was a good size but there was barely enough room for me to open my suitcase on the floor. The bed was comfortable at least and had a choice of pillows. In contrast the bathroom was a reasonable size. There was a good sized shower but with no bathtub (the hot water was consistent), the sink was made of transparent glass which was interesting but the tap seemed to splash water everywhere. The breakfast was buffet style, there was a good choice but nothing spectacular. Cereals and yogurts, fruit, continental stuff, bread, and some hot options such as scrambled eggs etc. Overall it was an ok stay for 1 night. The location, room size, and room location were the negatives for me. There also seemed to be a newer wing of the hotel which looked more modern and had a lift, I wonder what one has to do to get a room there.

What a wonderful hotel. We had rachtiful room with a lovely big bed, roof terrace and a fantastic shower. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant are also very good and tasty. The staff us friendly and helpful. We could leave our bag in the hotel when we were in the jungle. Special compliments to staff member Jose. Who was very helpful and service oriented via email. With great pleasure we will come back again.

We loved our stay at Ikala Quito. There is a very European feel to the hotel, comfortable rooms and beds, fabulous breakfast, welcoming helpful staff. They can provide transportation from the Quito airport. We cannot say enough good things about them! Highly recommend them.
