Very disappointed with this trip. For a mid to high end hotel at a secluded location at this price, it surely does not have much to offer. First, location is far away from everything. And I mean everything. This wouldn’t matter much to us if there were enough things to do in the hotel. But despite the activities the hotel advertises, almost all of the activities has a queue or are booked out during peak hours. You almost have to ‘fight’ for a spot and book 1-2 days in advance for say pickleball, spa, or even the restaurant where they had to sit people in the lobby area during peak dinner time. There was one pool table which was always full, and when we wanted to book the Karaoke room we were told it would cost RMB 4,000. And no, I did not accidentally add a zero. Staff was also not attentive, when we booked pickleball court, no one told us where to collect the bats and there was no staff attending the courts, and in the end we were left standing in the cold for 15mins before someone came over with equipment. Overall this was a very appalling experience. If everything you had to offer was unavailable or unreasonably limited in capacity, you should not label yourself with a price akin to high end getaways, which was our expectation. Final note to be fair, room was very clean. But all in all we would not book again.
