Tsokas Hotel

We love staying with Helena and her team at the Tsokas Hotel -they are so friendly and hard working -ensuring we are cared for . The hotel is well placed for access to the village and the beach and yet is quiet and peaceful. Sad to be leaving today -but already booked for next year.

We have just returned from a fantastic 14-night stay at Tsokas Hotel in Finikounda and can honestly say it is an absolute gem. The hotel is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by beautiful olive groves, lemon trees and fig trees. Waking up to the sound of cockerels and seeing goats being milked down the lane each morning gave it a wonderfully authentic Greek countryside feel. The location is perfect – just a flat 10-minute stroll into the centre of Finikounda, making it easy to enjoy the village, restaurants and beach while still being away from the hustle and bustle. The staff are outstanding – always happy, cheerful and incredibly helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. A massive shout-out to Stella, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. The rooms are cleaned every day, bins emptied, towels replenished, and everywhere is kept spotless. It is clear the team take great pride in their property. Breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate and relaxed. There is a coffee machine serving espresso, cappuccino and other coffees, along with a selection of teas, fresh orange juice and water. Food includes bread, boiled and fried eggs, omelettes, chipolata sausages, fresh tomatoes, feta, olives, cheese and ham, watermelon, delicious Greek yogurt with honey, jams and marmalade, fresh oranges and mixed fruit. It may not be a huge buffet, but everything is fresh and exactly what you need to start the day. A great touch is the honesty fridge stocked with beers, wines, soft drinks, water and more, all priced the same as in the village. There isn’t a pool bar, but you simply help yourself or ask one of the team, who are always nearby. The pool is fantastic for a hotel of this size – large, spotlessly clean, with comfortable padded sunbeds, plenty of shade, a hot tub and shower facilities. Pool towels are also provided free of charge for the sun loungers – just ask at reception and the team will happily provide them. We stayed in Room 105 overlooking the pool. It was spacious and extremely well equipped, with a full-size fridge freezer, oven, kettle, sandwich toaster and everything needed if you wanted to prepare meals. The room also had a safe in the wardrobe, which was a useful addition for storing valuables. The bed was very comfortable, there was a sofa bed, smart TV, air conditioning, plenty of plug sockets and excellent storage space. The shower was great and there was always plenty of hot water. Tsokas Hotel is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. We visited both Methoni and Koroni, which are well worth a trip. Finikounda Taxis were also excellent for getting around if you don’t want to drive. Overall, this is one of the best places we have stayed in Greece. Friendly staff, immaculate facilities, a beautiful setting and a relaxed atmosphere make it somewhere we would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely 10 night stay here. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The hospitality is excellent. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Cleaned every day along with fresh towels. Breakfast is simple but plentiful. Really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely recommend ❤️

Been home a week now and really missing this place. The staff were all wonderful. All so friendly and helpful, breakfast was nothing fancy but perfectly adequate. Room was large and always clean. Bathroom was very good. The bed was so comfy. Never a problem with beds by the pol whatever time you turned up. Easy walk to the beaches and in to the village.

Just back from a relaxing two weeks at this lovely hotel. Our room on the first floor had a view of the pool area and was very spacious. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Breakfast was fine for us. No sunbed wars, went the beach a few days and could still get one late afternoon when we returned. We would definitely be returning as we loved Finikounda.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff, especially Ledi who was brilliant. Lovely pool and grounds. Breakfast was adequate but disappointed to see tinned fruit offered. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The bathroom, however, was badly in need of modernising as the shower area was musty with a badly fitting shower.

We had a fabulous and very relaxing 11 night stay at Tsokas. This is a small hotel with a great team of staff who made us feel very welcome and looked after. The room was large and had everything we needed - great balcony with plenty of space. The pool is a good size with comfortable sun loungers . We were surprised to find we were often the only people there - no sun-bed wars here! The location is perfect - a short easy walk from the centre of the village and two lovely beaches as well as a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Many thanks to the team at Tsokas for making our holiday one of the most relaxing we have had.

Can’t fault our experience here in Finikounda Greece. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived in quite late from our flight + transfer in. The room was nice and spacious and very clean/everyday. Breakfast was no thrills but exactly what we wanted, fresh yoghurt, fruit and coffee. We didn’t plan our trip very well and were very lucky that the hotel staff were so helpful in advising nice places to dine and also helping organise a car rental for one day and also found out more information about local boat trips etc. Finikounda was a nice relaxing location, not a lot to keep you entertained but the perfect location to go relax and enjoy the stunning beach and ocean.

The hotel was perfect for us. Huge rooms, fabulously clean throughout, a beautiful pool set in spacious gardens with grass and fruit trees. The staff are wonderfully friendly. Breakfast was simple but delicious. I would return to this lovely hotel without hesitation.
