Rocas Blancas Apartments

we stayed there two nights. took us some time to activate wifi. very basic service. e.g. to get an iron it will cost you 5 euros. family friendly, hss a pool but ee hardly used it since tge beach was within 2 mins walk. location is good. but to find a parking particularly late at night may take some time.

This Apartment complex is very basic, tired and in need of an uplift. It’s obvious its location is what you’re actually paying for , nothing particularly above average for this place. It’s bland. No instructions nor information were available within the apartment. The sofa was unusable, it was faux leather and didn’t sit correctly and was sticky. The kitchen cupboards did not close, nor did the tiny chest of drawers in the bedroom. Very tired furniture. We had 6 coat hangers between us. One pillow each, towels & bedding poor . Our visit was for 4 nights , no housekeeping nor even bins emptied. Towels not changed. By the 4 night bedding felt not nice. There are 2 lots of steps to get to apartments. No good for those with poor mobility. We felt for £500 it was overpriced.

Stayed here for a week in feb 24 rooms or spacious and bathroom was a good size. All very clean also right on ***** to beach and all shops and restaurants only downside is if your checking in at night you have to find your apartment. So no taxi fares required as everything is on your doorstep.Also balcony is a great size and fans in rooms help with the heat. If I was asked to stay again my answer would be yes. I would give Rocas a 9 out of 10

They say never go back!! We should have taken note!. We stayed there in January 2023,and was given a lovey roon with a beautiful sea view, so we booked for 2 weeks there in December 2023. When we got there me my wife and granson, we're given a sea view room, but up stairs, and right next to a disco club, we had already mentioned that we were pensioners, and didn't want stairs, as we find it hard now to climb them. The first night, was horrendous, music banging till 5 am, couldn't get any sleep, the room was small for 3 people, with old sheets on the bed, in fact the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Next morning we went to reception at 9.30 when it opened for a few hours, and complained, the receptionist said she would move us the next day, but to a none sea view, and that was all she had available, so just to get away from the noise, we had to except, we didn't even get and sun on our terrace apartment let alone a sea view, which we had all ready paid for 10 months before. The room was cleaner and sheets were clean, so we just excepted it, so we could get on with it. One day I went and put towels out and was stood a few feet away, when the receptionist, came storming out and started frowing my towels off the bed, I had just put down, I asked what she was doing, and she snapped back, we were not allowed to leave towels, but I was 2 feet away, I wasn't doing that, with that she just stormed away, other people could believe what they had seen. We also asked her if she could look in our first room, because we had left somthing there, 3 days went past before my with knocked on the door and asked they people there if they had found it, and they said they had, and gave it to my wife, they also said nobody had asked them if there was anything there. On our departer, my wife left a pair of gold earrings in the apartment, and rang the apartment to ask if they had been handed it, and could we come and collect them as we were still on the island for another week. She said she would call back and let us know, that never happened. Never got they earing back. We will never go back there again, they way we were treated there, and we paid full money for that sea view, and feel cheated they way they didn't care about us.

This was my 3rd time staying at Rocas Blancas and it never disappoints! The apartments are simple and basic but everything is always so clean and the staff are very pleasant. For location and value for money alone, Rocas Blancas is perfect - right in the centre of the main ***** amongst all the bars and restaurants, taxi rank outside and the beach is right across the road. Would always recommend to a friend!
