Apartamentos Las Acacias

After reading a couple of reviews I was a bit dubious but we have just spent a lovely weekend at these apartments. The rooms are a little dated but really clean and were well equipped. Our lovely terrace overlooked the pool which I used each day & it and the public areas were also very clean. When we arrived the reception was closed but we had been given clear instructions on how to obtain the keys for the room. The lady on reception was very helpful. I’d stay in these apartments again. Their proximity to the seafront and their location was fine, supermarket about 50m away and handy for all that Puerto Del Carmen offers. If you’re looking for a cheap getaway like we were this is just the job.

We had a lovely time very tranquil and peaceful ,the apartment a bit dated but very clean also cooking utensils ,the pool area was spotless .the shower only lasts about 5 minutes very hot but by turning the pressure down run more cold water in lasts longer ,towels changed regular .short walk to the shops and ***** .At all times make sure you lock the door when sleeping even though there is no AC and when you go out ,the Wi Fi can be a bit of hit and miss .all in all it’s a lovely little complex and would definitely go back . Not far from the airport.

We stayed in apt 20 and our experience was first class. Magnolia in reception was very helpful. The complex was very clean.It is very close to beaches and bars /restaurants .we would certainly go back.

Lovely small, compact apartment block. We were a bit apprehensive coming here after reading reviews about break ins!!! However our apartment was extremely secure & we felt very safe here. Apartment was spacious for the 2 of us, adequate cooking utensils, pots & pans etc. Only negative was that there wasn't an oven as we like to cook a lot. Bathroom was a bit dated but didn't worry us as lots of hot water & a powerful shower. Very comfortable bed which was actually a double, normally it's 2 singles pushed together!! Complex very quiet day & night. I needed a mobility scooter & reception were great at helping me sort out accessing the apartment with it & I was able to charge it daily at the apartment also. WiFi was free & fast. The pool area looked lovely but we never used it. Situated up a steep hill but we used to break the journey by calling into the 3 bars along the hill. We got an occasional taxi at €3. Would recommend if you want a quiet break but also close to all the bars & restaurants on the *****. Hoping to return next year.

Place was great central to sea front, pubs & restaurants. Barbara was such a lovely lady and very welcoming, rooms were spotless and spacious. Would be great for an adult get away as very chilled within a quiet location.

Stayed here years ago and it was ideal, yes dated etc but ok. This visit was horrid, apartment dirty,dusty, flaking paint, dirty kitchen equipment and utensils. Had no hot water or water pressure in hot water tsps and shower, complained, apparently maintenance attended , all they did was change shower head and problem was exactly same. All in all rubbish.

We arrived late Friday night, there were no instructions on how to collect your keys as reception closes at 2pm everyday. Once we eventually got into our very dated room, the smell was unbearable!! Worst, weirdest smell me and my partner have ever smelt before. Bedroom window was left wide open so staff were obviously aware of the stench of the room. Luckily we had family staying in a different hotel not far from us which we had to stay in for the full time we were booked in at this awful hotel. There was no way any normal person could possibly sleep in that apartment smelling the way it did. Not the best start to our holiday after paying €318 for 3 nights. Disgusting. When we returned to our room on a few occasions to get what we needed out of cases for the day, our front door was left wide open (obviously from cleaners) which were nowhere to be seen in our apartment! We complained about the smell of the room which the receptionist was not slightly bothered about, talking to us whilst standing with a phone in her hand, very rude and unprofessional. Would absolutely never recommend this disgusting hotel to anyone, worst experience I’ve ever had on holiday. Save your money and go elsewhere unless you want to stay and there’s also a chance you could have your belongings stolen because the staff can’t be bothered to lock doors or windows after they’ve been in!!

It was very clean tidy and the Lady who run the place was very nice if we had a problem we could go and see her and it would be sorted the property was a walk from the main ***** which was very handy and we will stay there again
