Cavo Maris Beach Hotel

An excellent stay at all aspects. Tasty food ,really great service, clean hotel. Late checkout for free and writing now enjoying my tea with the best view from my room balcony. Definitely coming back!

Nice location, great pool and garden, but the seaside beach is not the best for kids. The standard rooms are little bit oldie but the hotel is renovated, some further renovation could make this place really like the heavens. Some people of the stuff are really nice but the receptions are sometimes slow.

We stayed in one of the suites on the 5th floor. The suite was amazing. No doubts, 5 stars! The views from the room are breathtaking. The hotel has plenty of chairs and umbrellas on its lawn area - just a few steps from a lovely small quiet public beach. If you need a change - a few other beaches are minutes walk away. The sea is crystal clear and abundant of sea life - worth bringing or buying you snorkeling equipment (we saw turtles elegantly swimming close to us several times). We prefer eating out at local places (we are not AI lovers), but we had dinner at the hotel twice - The Sea**** Sushi and The Stonegrill - both were very tasty. Also, cocktails are delicious and very reasonably priced. Overall, we found a place, where we will be returning again and again. Thanks to Nicolas, the rooms manager, who did all he could to make our stay so pleasant!

We returned to the Cavo Maris Beach Hotel for another visit in September just as the children were back at school. September is a wonder month to visit and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. The Cavo Maris Beach Hotel is set in a very quiet area over looking a beautiful beach. This area is so peaceful but, the main *****e is close enough to walk to either along the coastline or following the main road into Protaras depending on how quickly you walk it takes between 20 and 30 minutes. The Cavo Maris is surrounded by beautiful gardens and areas of grass. There are plenty of sun beds set out around the pool, on the area outside their coffee shop on the grass and the rest are set out on different levels on the grass so, guests can decide which area suits them best. The hotel is spotless and the cleaning and maintenance team work very hard to ensure all the public ares are kept clean throughout the day. Our maid was lovely and we were able to request the time we wished our room to be cleaned. This visit we stayed on the 5th floor and had a lovely room. The two bathrooms were very handy to ensure we were both ready to go out at the same time. We picked the ‘Dine Around’ option and always found what we wanted to eat. The salad bar had a great variety to items to suit everyone. We found the roast beef was particularly delicious and enjoyed eating in the Taverna some lunchtimes and during the evening. The staff at the hotel are without exception absolutely amazing and they certainly responded to any requests we had positively. Monica, George and Angela on reception were very friendly and efficient. Harris remembered where we liked to sit in the restaurant and was always smiling nothing, was too much trouble for him. Each morning at breakfast we looked forward to seeing Christina because she greeted everyone with a huge smile. The breakfast team worked very quickly to ensure when guests left their table the items were quickly removed and the table was cleaned for the next guests. In the evening Denise one of the waiters was extremely welcoming and always took our orders quickly. This hotel isn’t part of a chain but owned by three families so, it’s main aim is to ensure every guest has an enjoyable stay. Thank you, so much to the whole Cavo Maris Team we both had a wonderful time. We look forward to seeing the rooms on floors one to four after the renovations to these rooms are completed, when the hotel is closed over the winter.
