The place is quiet, clean and beautiful. However, the curtains were faulty and broken and I reported it and they never fixed(Room 3) and I was there for 3 nights. This means that I would have slept with open curtains if I didnt have a pin handy- Unacceptable! I would rate it 5* but because of this I can't

En primer lugar, cuando se entra en este hotel, es absolutamente atractivo. Servicio - Se saluda con un amable y profesional receptor. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es muy bueno, pero no es muy bueno. Si eso es lo que puedes permitir, recomiendo el Courtyard Hotel. La alojamiento de la ciudad es excelente para un precio presupuestario.

We spent one night here, arriving at about 20:00 after a long flight. Our room was quite nice, but a bit old, it had a small verandah and a kitchenette. Breakfast was good. The location is very good, between the airport and the sea. There is private parking. The owner is very kind and she went the extra mile calling her friend and even a friend of her friend to let us know how to find the bench with Mandela statue at University. They have some lights and wi-fi working during loadshedding, that it’s very important.

Deteriorated since my previous stay in 2019 LOCATION: Excellent. Across the road from the beach. Linked to the Boardwalk Mall. APPEARANCE: Attractive. Victorian Style. Well maintained. ROOM (Stayed in a junior suite): Decor: Great. Blends in with hotel style. Size: Very spacious. Amenities: No extra blanket available during a cold spell. Cleanliness: Excellent. Quality of sleep: Very comfortable bedding. Cold. SERVICE: Appalling. Marked deterioration since my last visit. Needs a serious shake-up. I stayed just 1 night and yet 2 incidents of note: 1. Phoned housekeeping to request an extra blanket during a cold spell. I am still waiting for the blanket... 2. We were a group that booked 3 rooms. 2 people requested a 1-hour later checkout at adjacent receptionists at the EXACT same time. 1 receptionist happily met the request, the other bluntly refused without even asking a room number or even pretending to look at the computer screen! Lazy? Arrogant? Bad attitude? Poorly trained? Service at the Spa was excellent (But this is privately run by Camelot and not Sun International which probably explains the better service than the hotel) DINING: Breakfast was average. Clean spacious dining hall. Limited selection. lacking variety (Not 5-Star). Good quality and presentation. ACTIVITIES/FACILITIES: Great heated indoor pool - probably the hotel's biggest drawcard (Temperature should be turned up a notch though). Outdoor pool as well. Gym. Great spa. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: Didn't have much time to explore. Ocean at the doorstep. MY BOOKING AGENT: Hotel website as an MVG member. Will I recommend/stay there again? Maybe. Not much competition in the area unfortunately. However with this service, they are trying hard to deter repeat visitors.

GGenieBWow, debo decir que nos saludamos en la puerta y nos tratamos tan amablemente. Nomi que fue absolutamente alegre y amable a nosotros. Claro que era una de las mejores partes de nuestra estadía. En el jardín del hotel, el hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado.

Host Shirley was so friendly, interactive and very accommodating with our food restrictions. The rooms were very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Port Elizabeth area.

PPaetzoldWe have stayed here many time because it is a beautiful building in an excellent location. The general staff are outstanding and the food and rooms are amazing. Unfortunately the front desk is just not the same as the rest of the experience. When I wrote in to ask for an early check in I got no reply- on my arrival I asked about this and was told because I got no reply that means it’s fine. I find this odd as I explained that we were arriving after a three part flight over 18 hours. We have stayed here at least 3 other times and my comment for each time would be pretty much the same - I feel the front desk could do better to Mach their rest of the experience.

Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant room for a night and a good breakfast choice. Need a car or taxi to get into town but a few small shops and eating places about 10 minutes walk away. The sea and beach are opposite. In our case, the only dislike was of a close up view of adjacent roof but as we were very tired and stayed only one night after a long overnight flight and then a delayed internal flight, this was no real problem. Yes we would be very happy to stay again but would ask for a better view from the room.

Friendly, competent and helpful staff, great food, very clean, and comfortable rooms with views of the ocean second to none. Close to the mall, and the highway, but you don't have the noise pollution you would expect from being in the middle of it all. I loved every minute of my stay!

IIgnacioEl hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, y la zona se siente más segura (que es algo que se debe considerar en Sudáfrica), y es muy espaciosa y sin espacio, y tiene una cocina.
