Where to start.... I really wonder where these four starts come from. The service is absolutely untrained and not qualified. The white was warm, they brought the wrong bottles, the service was slow and kept brining the wrong orders. We thought it was a joke. Usually, I am not the one to complain, but being in hospitality myself, I have good knowledge of what excellent, good, satisfactory, poor and very poor service is. It is a shame that a pretty place like this with such potential has such terrible staff. A little anecdote : amongst other orders, we ordered a gin tonic. The waitress then brought two. When we pointed out that we had only ordered one, she answered « no you didn’t » . I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to cry or laugh. When we ordered white wine, for the second time, because they found out the bottle we first ordered was not available after half an hour, they brought red wine. There are many more examples I could write, all of which happened in one evening, but I think this gives a good enough impression. I spoke to the owner of the place who simply apologized but didn’t seem to care much. There are so many nice hotels who need guests to stay at, especially after the pandemic. Please choose hotels that actually try and are receptive of feedback.
