Me quedé aquí en julio por una noche en julio. El cheque en proceso fue bien. La habitación en el piso 5 parecía muy limpia. Hacía huelo de pulverización de bugs. No me quejé porque me di cuenta que era mejor tener un problema abordado y ”fijado”, luego tener un problema y ignorado. La cama era cómoda, el baño limpio. Internet bueno, el servicio de teléfono celular era difícil (sé con Celular de los Estados Unidos). Solicité una hora de la salida, porque realmente necesito el tiempo extra. Dos secretarios de escritorio no tenían la ”autoridad” para conceder mi petición. Tuve que preguntar al manejador de la mañana. Ella consiguió con alegría mi petición. El desayuno ”buffet” a cargo era más como un desayuno continental, que en mi opinión debería llamarse así. Una persona puede ordenar el menú. Le ordené un omeleta de ham y queso con frijoles de casa. Muy poco ham y casi ningún queso. frijoles de casa se vistieron cocinados en el exterior, vapor en el interior. Lo envié de vuelta y no se cargaron. Le dije al escritorio delantero sobre la comida pobre. Cuando estaba empacando mis ropas que estaban colgando en el armario, me di cuenta de rocas muertas. Cuando llegué a casa, me di cuenta de dos más rocas muertas en mi bolsillo y en el camión de mi coche. No estaba feliz en absoluto. ¿Quieres quedarme aquí otra vez? Quizás. Me gustaba que el hotel estuviese lejos de la zona turística de Plymouth junto al almacén de la casa.

Let me start off by saying that this particular hotel holds a special place in my heart as I stayed here several times as a child. It WAS always extremely well kept, the staff WAS kind, it WAS tastefully decorated and WAS a peaceful family-oriented place to stay. However, new ownership is making all the wrong decisions to keep up with the old standards. For starters, they no longer have beach access, which is a huge disappointment! It would be better if they had no breakfast at all, considering they only provide bagels, bread, one type of cereal and waffle mix. The waffle mix ran out an hour before breakfast was over and they had zero interest replenishing it. Having said that, the same worker runs the desk and has no personality to be working with the public. He's not rude but looks miserable to be there and it makes your stay feel that much more uncomfortable because you can see he could care less about your presence. They seem to be losing focus on the stay, and spending more of their attention on getting outsiders in to use the bar. Perhaps they are getting by with the money made from the restaurant/bar, but they are forgetting about those that are spending the night. I will say that the women that runs the bar is very friendly, and the food was very good! But the New England Charm that the hotel used to bear, is now combined with a Miami vibe which just doesn't fit the scene. It is extremely tacky looking and has a picture of nude women on the wall that just doesn't seem appropriate for the setting considering families like ours are staying. Another distasteful display is the bright aggressive signs everywhere that read ”no food, no drinks, in pool & hot tub area. $200 Fine” I understand the reasoning behind no food and certain drinks in that area, but it seems a bit rough displayed in such a manner. Very short staffed! It seemed like the owners were the two-cleaning people, one person ran the desk and two ran the restaurant and they never left. I wondered if they lived there, I guess it shouldn't matter one way or another it's just sad how desperate everything feels. I think it would have been overlooked had they expressed gratitude for their guests, but you're lucky if you even got a smile apart from the friendly woman at the restaurant. Mind you, it breaks my heart to say anything bad about this place considering the years I spent going without a single flaw. I understand things change, but this is not for the good. The entire premises looks run down, and sadly I don't foresee this changing because of their poor customer relations and poor objectives. It's amazing what a can of paint will do. I would hate to see this place continue to go downhill; I really do wish the very best but they must get the courage to lose sight of the shore. Quite literately. they can't depend on alcohol and a pretty view to stay up float. I wish this review to be used as constructive criticism for the owners, because truly I want to continue on with the memorie

We had a lovely stay at TownePlace in Wareham, MA, for just one night, because it was near some geocaches that we wanted to look for...and also certain members of my family wanted to swim in an indoor pool in February. The room (two queens plus sofa) was clean and cute. We're not accustomed to extended stay hotels, so it was surprising to see a fully-functional kitchen in the room. Looked more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. The indoor pool was clean and fun. My kids swam for hours. I noticed there was warm-weather outdoor seating, overlooking the cranberry bog, but too cold today to enjoy that. The free breakfast in the morning was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. When we checked out, we left a scavenger hunt for the maid: four different tips (dollar bills) hidden in four different places in the room. Hope they enjoyed the hunt! :) I must still be in a geocaching mood. Every staff member who worked Sat 02/11 to Sun 02/12 was ultra-friendly. It would be impossible to name all of them. Thanks for a fun weekend away!

The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, our room was (surprisingly) ready quite early and they allowed us to check in hours before (this was a nice treat). The location is great - minutes from the Bourne bridge, plenty of entertainment and restaurants nearby, easy to travel to and from (esp off season). Convenience stores and the like are right nearby. It's quiet and being right along the canal and walkway was SO lovely!!! They have a nice fire pit outside - we enjoyed that. The pool is nice. Small. Much smaller than it appears online. No reflection on the hotel/staff at all, but if it's busy in there, it can be LOUD. There are not enough seats for everyone if it's busy so just keep that in mind. We had a water view room with two queen beds - go for the water view, it's lovely and you can see the Bourne bridge from your room (well, we could) as well as the walkway along the canal. It was just lovely, really. We're looking forward to visiting again. We're pretty local so visiting was for something ”different” on a weekend and a bday celebration. Definitely a nice diversion from the status quo on a busy weekend.
