Had a great stay. Staff was phenomenal. Loved the amenities including heated year around pool with hot tub, ski lift with mountain biking or hiking in the fall, restaurant on site, complimentary fire with s’mores, and even an option for horse riding. The property is vast. We booked the most price effective room and stayed in a 90’s decor room that badly needed updating. Enjoyed the deck, not a fan of the view over the parking lot. However, appreciated all the amenities and what felt like a historic Time Capsule. If we had spent a bit more on a room I’m sure I’d have better reviews for the state of the room. Most have fireplaces, ours did not. Staff were friendly and seem to actually enjoy their jobs. Would love to come back for a color tour again if affordable. ❤️

We asked for our room to be cleaned. When the came we were trying to get ready for a wedding we were heading to. We said we would be out in 30 minutes and they said they would come back. When we came back at 11:30 pm I expected the room to be clean and I was disappointed that they never returned to clean the room.

Everyone at the Highlands was exceptionally pleasant, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. The renovated rooms helped our short getaway to feel indulgent. Kudos!

Girls Weekend celebrating a birthday. Beautiful location, the grounds are meticulously taken care of and staff is so very helpful. We felt so welcomed and taken care of the entire weekend. Thank you!

Beautiful resort. Rooms were fantastic. The elevator was down. It made it a bit difficult because of my medical issues.

We booked as a "last minute deals". Given the first weekend in August in extremely busy - I was having trouble finding lodging. Price was more than ususally spend on hotels, we decided to splurge. Very happy that we did!
The room was FABULOUS. Decorated very classy. I have never seen a bathroom as clean in any other hotel I've stayed at.
Check in staff were AMAZING. Definitely will try to come back for a longer stay!

We love to stay here every year with the chair lift, kayaks, mini golf and the beautiful atmosphere. The updated rooms are clean and spacious.
