Stayed here before numerous times and never had an issue. This time however was disappointing. The staff weren’t as friendly as before. They also chased me from behind reception to say a friend couldn’t wait for me to get changed or use the toilet and she timed them 10 minutes before they had to leave the premises. It felt like being with a naggy parent. The room was filthy and stank of cigarette smoke meaning the sofa wasn’t usable because the smell was so strong. Gran Canaria is a party island and I felt heavily judged when I was coming to my room late. I don’t believe this hotel is suitable for solo travellers and I think more money needs to be invested into refurbishment. Speaking of refurbishment, the hotel had tile cutters working overlooking the pool meaning it was too noisy to sit and relax. The final disappointment was when I asked about late check out to be told “great that’s marked in the diary, you’ll have to come down to pay for it within 48hrs of original check out” only to go back down the next morning to be told the room was already reallocated. This wouldn’t be an issue if the hotel actually had facilities other than a toilet for late check out guests. I asked about a shower facility because my flight is late at night and was told “just shower at the pool, everyone does” Wi-Fi is also €20 for 7 days and the safe is €34 euro upfront with €12 returned. This can only be paid in cash meaning €54 cash needs to be spent before you’ve even left the hotel I was already booked to come back in October but I have changed hotels and won’t be back here again

The hotel is very clean and is in a good location near the Irish centre/kebash centre there are plenty of places to eat, drink and enjoy entertainment within minutes also a spar shop 1 minute down the road. The beach was 7mins on the flat (turn left out of hotel next left and follow that Rd straight down there is lift down to the beach or a ramp and steap steps - there are lots of beach restaurants and tourist shops. I paid for a premium pool view room and requested a high floor, we got a premium room on the ground floor it had a garden view (couldn't see the pool) room 23 to be honest after thinking about it and having a good look round the room decided we'd keep it I liked the patio and sun loungers literally outside the room. The room was lovely decorated modernly had ceiling fans in both the lounge and twin bedroom, also had little slated windows that could be left open. The beds were comfortable. The best shower I think we'd every had on holiday. Large tv we took our fire stick all worked fine I did pay £18 for the WiFi for 3 devices for the week and was good no problems. Didn't bother with the safe that was 12 euros. Kitchen was equipped with hob, full size fridge, kettle coffee machine. Also had a small washing up liquid a Tea towel and dish cloth left and a large bottle of water in the room - nice touch. Cleaning ladies came every other day and did a great job I did have to request clean towels a few times but no biggy. We did hear some noise at night til the early hours but not to bad it's in a location with alot going on so it's to be expected. The pool area was lovely sun all day there is parasols and loads of loungers never a problem getting one and plenty of space. The life gaurds are super strict seem to be constantly telling someone off, children aren't allowed balls or floats there are some woggles for use. The first 4 days we did have a ball and so did a few others but day 5 a different life guard turned up and that was the fun other with, such a shame my 12 year old was pretty miffed because of this I wouldn't visit with a child again it's chilled for adults though. The pool it self was chilly on getting in but once in we could stay in for an hour or more - it does have heating little warm jets. The little kids pool is like a bath. Pool snack bar is good value not massive portions though, also sells Icecreams. Weather end of March was 22 degrees, windy but warm we had one shower and a cloudy afternoon in the evening it was chilly take a cardi/jacket. So good for a chilled pool vibe and central location just wouldn't recommend for children/families.

We stayed here as a family of 3. We were In apartment 24 which was directly opposite the swimming pool and then the back of the apartment opened up onto astra turf. Complex very clean, staff were lovely and helpful but if you have children and teens I would consider NOT to stay here. The reasons being No football allowed No entertainment on the complex You cannot use inflatables in the pool Even playing with a football in the pool etc was frowned upon. Plenty of entertainment outside the complex. Beach within walking distance, the safe in the apartment we had to pay and they also took a deposit from you hut you got the deposit back on check out Food served in the pool area was very decently priced and gorgeous They also has giant chess, and turtles which are well looked after. The outdoor gym is well looked after as are the gardens etc. . Would I stay here again No but that's purely because of our son

Firstly the staff were great especially the cleaning staff, the ladies who cleaned my room were so welcoming and friendly the reception staff were helpful tho on one occasion I asked for WiFi I was told to come back at 8am ad she wasn't working ( she was on the computer at the front desk ) The rooms are really dated but clean ( Thanks to the amazing cleaning staff ) I had to complain on the second day of my trip about cockroaches in the room and shower. The staff were helpful with this but it made me uncomfortable the rest of the holiday. I didnt use the pool area but it was clean and a lifeguard was on everyday. Thankfully I got my phone sorted as this hotel wants to charge 20quid for the week for WiFi When leaving I was allowed to leave my cases in a room at reception which was great. I wouldnt stay here again due to the cockroaches and the dated decore, my bedding also had holes in it.

Have stayed on many occasions. Ideally situated for beach, restaurants and short walk to shopping centres. Room over looking the pool, with Seaview, Nicely decorated comfy beds, loads of storage and furniture good, shower was powerful and cleaned through out our stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Don't get me started on depressing rooms, avoid like the plague, that saying, things aren't as they seem, fits this place,as only nice thing is the outside. But reception staff , disgraceful 🤬

Dated and in need of repair. No air conditioning. Nice pool with comfy sun bed mattresses. Friendly staff especially the maids and lifeguard. A few nice restaurants close by but general area a big run down.
