We were based on ground floor room 017 anyone who gets this room I would say try and change straight away. The view from outside is a homeless camp with multiple people sleeping rough 24/7. I understand this cannot be helped in todays economy however reading reviews from nearly a year ago this seems to have been an ongoing issue since then so maybe change the fencing at the back to gain some privacy from the alleyway at least, The other view is the bins and a gas canister so if you’re looking for a nice view then do not stay in this room. We also had an ant infestation in our kitchen and bathroom so that was great, the beds in one bedroom were incredibly uncomfortable and the one had a broken leg. The fans are poor for the room, luckily when we went it wasn’t actually that warm but if it was much warmer you would struggle with just using these as they don’t go round very fast at all even on reverse mode as suggested. Also one remote control controlled the front room fan and bedroom fan which again was not ideal. The plug sockets in the rooms did not all seem to work, the TV often played up and we was unable to stream from our phone to it, it has Netflix but this often didn’t work or freezed, the bathroom gets incredibly hot and needs better ventilation there is a window at the top but it doesn’t open so not sure why it is there, the drains also kick up often especially in the morning. You get one small sofa for everyone to sit down on so end up sitting on top of each other, housekeeping tend to show up when they want on about 4 of the days they kept coming in at 9am when everyone was asleep or had not long got up and then would come back about 10mins later. On the odd occasion we had to just tell them to leave it and grab a few towels and toilet roll as it was too early. Plus the room was never cleaned properly anyway, the beds were made (never changed) but the floor was never swept or cleaned. We asked to be moved from our room multiple times but was told there was nothing available. The hotel itself is very basic not much going on at all, not much entertainment around the pool or pool games or anything, the pool area is ok I can’t see how everyone would get a sub bed when it was busy as they’re just doesn’t seem enough of them, one of the days we struggled to get 4 together and the weather wasn’t even that great. The pool bar is awful had like 1 man running it and there is always a long queue. The food is really basic at the pool bar, do not get nachos they are vile. Cannot comment on the restaurant as we never done all inclusive we was self catering. The pool itself is ok, very cold could do with being heated in the colder months as it was freezing in November I can’t imagine how cold it gets for December or January. If you have kids there is nothing for them to do here you aren’t allowed inflatables or anything in the pool and they didn’t seem to do anything for kids, maybe as we went in November and it was out of season, I don’t know.
